Right then, that's it from the coverage of this game. Brisbane Heat win the game and seal the top spot in the tournament. Perth Scorchers will be eyeing to bounce back in the next encounter. Omkar Iyer here signing off on behalf of Ninaad Dixit, scorer Raju Khariya. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Michael Neser: "I will pick the runs out of the 3 performances tonight because I haven't score runs in a while. I went out there hoping for 15, got 16. It was one of those innings where everything worked out.

I think once the new ball got a bit softer, it was actually a beautiful wicket. We played our last game when it was sticky but you got value for shots. Its a beautiful wicket and thankfully everything hit middle.

I am not big with celebrations. I knew I had to bowl another over after the catch so I was nervous."
Michael Neser is the player of the match.
Phew! What an humdinger! Just sensational stuff from both the teams. Although, it will be Brisbane Heat who will head back home with the bragging rights from this game. The only qualified team in the points table, extend their lead even further.

Perth Scorchers were blown away even before coming into the run chase, by that unbeaten knock from Neser and the momentum just shifted the dressing room in the innings break. Neser then instantly came into the action as he is the one who started the proceedings with the new ball. Not just that, but he was the one who drew the first blood as well. He was just in sensational form today and he did everything right, throughout the game. Not to forget, the sensational catch that he took while running backwards.

Let us shift our attention to the batting effort from the visitors. Zak Crawley and Sam Whiteman got off to a decent start but could not handle the heat from the new ball bowlers. They lost both the openers in the first six over, putting them on the back foot instantly. To make it worse, they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Their batters got off to starts, but could not make the most of it. Evans then gave some hope with his incredible knock of 51 but he could not stick around till the end, the main problem for him was that he kept losing partners at the other end and eventually succumbed under pressure. Meanwhile, Brisbane Heat bowlers were just in incredible form. Neser, Bartlett, Johnson and Walter picked up two wickets each, while Kuhnemann chipped in with one.
