That is the end of it. Australia thrashed the Netherlands to get the biggest-ever wins in the history of the World Cup in terms of runs and stay firmly in fourth place with a massive boost in the net run rate. We will be back with another banger of a World Cup game tomorrow. It is England vs Sri Lanka from Chinnaswamy!

For now, it is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my esteemed co-commentator Akshay Bhide and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer brought you all the live-action of this Australian dominance. A special mention to our correspondent for today Mr. Sidharth Gulati! We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
Pat Cummins (Australia Captain): "Really happy. A complete game. It is as good as it gets. We put 400 runs on the board and then defended it. Yeah, felt happier.

Yeah, it was crazy from Maxi. It was a 100+ partnership. Felt like both contributed equally (chuckles). Nothing to take away from Maxi.

No chance for any bowlers when someone is hitting as well as Maxi was hitting. As clean hitting as you can see. I think he played in his style. The openers played well to start with. Smith coming in at number 3, did his job. We are starting to play to our potential and play in the style we talk about. We had another good batting powerplay.

We bowled well in the Powerplays, actually. But didn't have much luck. It is what we aimed for, wickets upfront. Zampa with another four-fer.

Next up is New Zealand at Dharamshala. They have played a game there. They have prepared well and as good as they can. They are a quality side. It's a big game, it's a World Cup.

Something to look forward is the batting where we haven't nailed throughout the 50 overs,"
Scott Edwards (Netherlands Captain): "Yeah. Obviously, they are a quality unit and defending 400, they have got world-class bowlers and we should have been better today.

Yeah. Execution obviously. You miss by fractions and you see yourself out of the park. Credit to the Australians. They accelerated brilliantly. We did bowl well till the 40th mark but Maxwell got away after that.

The wicket is good here and the ball races on the outfield superbly. So you have to bowl well while playing here.

As I said earlier, the batters are important for us and they are the reason why we are here. Maybe we will talk about that a little before our next game against Bangladesh."
David Warner: "It was a special day for him (Maxwell). It's great to reach the hundred and the fifty.  The "rock the cradle" celebration was special as well. We discussed it during the IPL, focusing on the importance of timing and rhythm. In certain tracks, you have to give yourself permission to do it. It was always going to be difficult to win the opening match in Chennai against India.

The timing was also off in Lucknow. But after that, I stood by myself, took command, and batted those 50 overs. (Running between the wickets, intensity). I believe in my ability to bat in these conditions; it's all about trusting your skills.  I ran a 2 for my mate (Steve Smith), and he nearly ran me out (chuckles). It's a memory I'll cherish for a long time. As you can see, Virat also does it frequently. It's an attitude thing, you have to have that within you. (on the four consecutive fours off Aryan Dutt)  I was trying to work out where the gap was and how to pierce the gap. I initially wanted to play a reverse sweep, but he kept pitching it shorter. It was a valuable start to finding my rhythm.

(Sixth WC hundred, passing Ponting and equaling Sachin) I need to go out there and give it my all. I look forward to World Cups and get motivated for tournament action. At this stage, you must truly shine.

(Talking about Zampa) Glad for him. He had several problems, like back spasms, etc. We were laughing and decided to call his bowling "right-arm googlies." It's good to see him make the right decision. Positivity before the New Zealand game.

(Talking about powerplay wickets) The ball was swinging, and our bowlers executed their plans effectively, targeting the right lengths to trouble the opposition batsmen and penetrating the ball through to the keeper."

Glenn Maxwell (Player of the Match): "(On fastest World Cup hundred) It's something I didn't set out to do. I tried to stay till the end and cash on the opportunity to bat here as the boundaries are short and the ball runs away quickly under lights.

It's about making the right decisions at the start of my innings. I was not giving myself time to settle in. That's the change I have made.

A big confidence booster for me. You can start doubting yourself when you are not scoring runs but good to get this innings under my belt.

A near to perfect game. To post 400 on the board and then bowling the way we did was perfect. That's three wins in a row and we are on track now."

8:26 PM IST and Local Time: Plenty of records have been shattered by the five-time champions as Australia demolish Netherlands in Delhi! Australia beat the Orange Army by a massive margin of 309 runs- The biggest-ever win for a team in a World Cup in terms of Runs! They bettered their own record of beating Afghanistan by 275 runs in 2015!

Sheer Australian dominance, and they have announced themselves back with three consecutive victories! Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Australia clobbered 399/8 in 50 overs. Mitchell Marsh was the only one to miss out in the top four. David Warner smashed his 6th World Cup hundred and continued his great run of form with back-to-back tons.

Davey added 132 runs for the 2nd wicket with Steven Smith (71 off 68), who returned back amongst the runs with a half-century. Smith was dismissed by Aryan Dutt courtesy of a stunner from Roelof van der Merwe at backward point. Before it, Warner survived a close call with van der Merwe claiming a miracle catch at extra cover.

The Bull further added 84 runs for the 3rd wicket alongside Marnus Labuschagne (62 off 47), who himself scored yet another fifty in his career, giving the selection headache to the management with Travis Head waiting on the sidelines.

Jos Inglis and the centurion Warner (104 off 93) got out in a quick time, which was followed by the dismissal of Cameron Green, giving Netherlands a great opportunity to pull things back with Australia at 290/6 with just over 7 overs remaining in the innings.

Glenn Maxwell, at the other end, had other ideas as the talismanic all-rounder brought some ridiculous shots out and smoked the fastest-ever World Cup hundred off 40 balls and was out in the last over on his score of 106 from 44 balls, hitting 9 fours and 8 biggies. Bas de Leede picked a couple of wickets in the final over but failed to restrict the Aussies, who ended up just one short of 400.

Logan van Beek was the successful bowler for the Dutch, who finished his quote with figures of 4/74, while Bas de Leede went for the journey, giving away 115 runs in his 10 overs and picking up 2 wickets. de Leede now has bagged an infamous record of being the bowler with the most expensive figures.

The Dutch openers Vikramjit Singh and Max O'Dowd gave a glimmer of hope for the camp with a few glorious shots. But Australians were too hot to handle for the Orange Army and literally ran through the batting order, getting them skittled out for just 90 runs in 21 overs. Vikramjit was the top-scorer with run-a-ball 25, and that should give one a fair idea of what had transpired.

All of the bowlers who bowled picked the wickets. Starc, Hazlewood and Cummins grabbed one each, while Mitchell Marsh scalped a couple of wickets. Adam Zampa cleared the lower order in a blink of an eye and was the successful bowler, with figures of 3-0-8-4!

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations!
