Player Bio

Scott Edwards is an Australian-Dutch cricketer who represents the Netherlands at the international level.

A right-handed wicket-keeper batsman, Edwards made his international debut in 2018 in the Tri-Nation tournament, featuring Ireland and Scotland. He made his debut against Ireland and was dismissed for just 6 runs.

The wicket-keeper batsman made his ODI debut against Nepal in the very same year. He was named in the playing XI for the first ODI match and could only manage to score 18 runs.

In 2019, Edwards was added to the Dutch squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers. Ahead of the tournament, ICC named him as the player to watch out for in the Dutch squad.

A cricketer with great potential, Edwards has not fulfilled those potential as of yet. He has a solid technique and has the knack of scoring runs quickly, but the inability to convert good starts into big scores has hurt him over the years.
