So, that's it from the coverage of the 3rd Women's ODI between Pakistan and South Africa with the series also coming to an end. We hope that you enjoyed our coverage throughout the series as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you. Lots of cricketing actions happening in our space and network across formats. Do keep an eye on those.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Wali Siddiqui and Soumarya Dutta alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS till we meet again.
Laura Wolvaardt goes across and collects the ODI trophy for winning the series 2-1 and the takes to her teammates for celebrations. They have been second best today, but overall, they have played the better game in the ODIS.
Laura Wolvaardt (South Africa Women Captain): "Disappointing way to finish the series. With the bat, we did badly and the ball slid on later. So, not enough runs on the board. The slower balls worked and the pitch was slow and the batting got easier. We enjoyed as a team here and enjoyed the hospitality shown by Pakistan people to us and we look forward to come back here again."
Nida Dar (Pakistan Women Captain): "Definitely. Great achievement as we finished off on a high. This will boost us going into the Asian Games. The bowlers have bowled well today. Sadia bowled well. Diana took a good catch there. Definitely, it was a good preparation. We won 4 out of 6 games. We have a lot of games in Asia Cup. It was an awesome experience having South Africa here and hope like this Pakistan will grow like this."
Nadine de Klerk (Player of the Series): "Happy to contribute to the team. We have come back well after the T20IS and to win a series here is a great feeling. Proud of the girls. It was quite tough out there. We wanted to get to 200 and above but the Pakistani batters batted well and got the job done in the end. The pitch was slower, and drier. Their spinners and pacers bowled well. Full credit to them for the win."
Player of the Series: Nadine de Klerk.
Sidra Ameen (Player of the Match): "Yes, in the first two games, I got starts and could not carry on. The mindset was to go out there and go big in the end. I want to help the team win and looking forward to the Asian Games coming your way. Have to stay positive and individually happy."
Player of the Match: Sidra Ameen.
The match officials led by the match referee are getting their mementos to start off.

Pakistan Women 186/2 in 38 overs

Nadine de Klerk 1/33 | Ayabonga Khaka 1/27

It has been an outstanding effort from the Pakistani Women and they've show some remarkable fight here to pull one back in this ODI Series. They turned up today and played superb cricket to upstage a strong Proteas side. They had to chase a paltry 186 runs and they did it easily in the end as they showed a lot of calmness and maturity in the run chase.

The openers gave Pakistan a sedate but solid start as they endured the tough opening spell from the Proteas seamers who bowled probing line and lengths. Sadaf Shamas got tied up a bit at one and end and threw her wicket away in the search of some quick runs. Bismah Mahroof joined Ameen at that stage and from there the duo put on an absolute master class of ODI batting. They pushed hard for the singles initially and ran hard to convert the ones into twos. Ameen was the aggressor as she found the boundaries a bit more regularly as Maroof played the second fiddle in the partnership.

Nadine de Klerk eventually broke through in the 34th over of the innings as she managed to get rid of Sidra Ameen but the damage had already been done by that time. Once Ameen was gone, Maroof shifted gears and played a lot more strokes and reached her half century in the process. She was joined by Aliyah Riaz, Pakistan's best batter in the series so far and she didn't fail to provide the finishing touches to the run chase. The bowlers were erring in their lines and lengths at that stage and Riaz made quick work of the run chase as she blasted off 19 runs from just 14 balls.

The South African bowlers had a bad outing and they didn't have enough on the board to defend. They couldn't get the breakthroughs after getting the first wicket and it cost them big time. There was a lot of turn on offer on this wicket and they missed a trick by not playing Mlaba, their premier spinner. They looked a bit lackluster in the end and they leaked the runs as the bowlers were tiring.

It's been a long and tough fought series and Pakistani Women will be really proud of themselves for managing to end it with a win. They were outplayed in the first two games but they turned up here and put up a clinical performance. They will have a lot of positives to take out from this game. South Africa on their part, have been excellent in the ODI series and they will deservingly take the trophy home. It's been a memorable tour for Women's cricket in general as both the hosts and visitors have won 1 series each.

22:37 IST, 22:07 local time, Pakistan Women win by 8 wickets.
