Player Bio

A stylish top-order batter, Sidra Ameen is a professional cricketer for Pakistan’s Women team. Born and brought up in Lahore, she started playing age-group cricket for Lahore and gradually made progress into the U-19 Lahore squad. 

The 29-year old batter received her maiden call-up from the national side for the Women’s T20 Quadrangular series in Sri Lanka and made her debut against Ireland Women on April 24th, 2011. Having been selected for the 2013 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, she made four appearances for the Women in Green.

Sidra was named in Pakistan’s squad for the 2018 Women’s T20 World Cup in West Indies but was replaced by Bismah Mahroof just prior to the tournament. With over 50 appearances at the international stages, Sidra was named in Pakistan’s limited-overs squad to tour Zimbabwe women in November 2021.
