20:58 IST and 17:28 Local Tiome | So, this marks the end of our live ball-by-ball coverage from the CWC Qualifier match between Oman and Netherlands.

This is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on the behalf of my two esteemed co-commentators Harsh Shukla and Deepak Prakash and our scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur. Hope you have enjoyed our coverage. Stay tuned with us for more coverages of cricketing actions around the globe. Till then, stay safe. Good night.
Scott Edwards (Netherlands captain):- "Yeah we planned to get some points on the board. We had few good innings in the end. Vikram has played well and Saqib in the end was good. Vikram got his first hundred, that's really well. I think we as a bowling unit did really well. We will watch the Scotland and Zimbabwe game but we can't do anything on that game but we will surely try to win the next game."
Aqib Ilyas (Oman Captain): "I think first of all I will give the credit to the Netherlands batters. The overcast condition and playing under that condition was brilliant. We were not up to the mark with bowling and fielding. But the credit should go to the batters they batted very well. We stick to our plans no matter how the opposition team is playing. Yaa he (Ayaan Khan) he batted very well, took the hands in his hand, and batted till the end."
Vikramjit Singh (Player of the match): "Yeah, amazing I waited a long time for this and finally getting the maiden ODI hundred, feels unreal. We knew it was going to do a bit at the start. (About batting plan) Batting long, and as long as I can. Initially, we focused on the first 15 overs and subsequently continued batting in our usual manner."
20:45 IST and 17:15 Local Time | Saptak:- In a thrilling World Cup qualifier match between the Netherlands and Oman, the Netherlands emerged victorious by a margin of 74 runs, despite a valiant effort from Oman's Ayaan Khan, who registered his first ODI century.

Batting first, the Netherlands displayed an impressive performance, scoring 362 runs from their allotted 48 overs. Vikramjit Singh played a crucial role, scoring his maiden international hundred, while Wesley Barresi fell just three runs short of a well-deserved century, contributing a valiant 97 to the team's total. Lower-order contributions from Bas De Leede and Saqib Zulfiqar, who scored 39 off 19 balls and 33 off 17 balls respectively, ensured that the Netherlands reached a formidable target.

For Oman, Bilal Khan stood out with the ball, taking three wickets to put a dent in the Netherlands' innings. However, their efforts weren't enough to contain the Dutch batsmen, as the team posted a challenging total on the board.

Chasing 362, Oman aimed to take the game down to the wire, but fell short in their pursuit. Ayaan Khan played an exceptional innings, remaining unbeaten on 105 off just 92 balls, showcasing his skill and determination. Shoaib Khan provided some support with a solid knock of 46 runs. However, the lack of support and intent from the other end hindered Oman's chances of victory.

The Netherlands bowlers, led by Aryan Dutt's three wickets and Ryan Klein's two, maintained a disciplined approach and put pressure on the Oman batting lineup. Despite Ayaan Khan's heroics, the rest of the team struggled to build partnerships and fell short of the target by 74 runs.

The match was concluded prematurely due to bad light, but it was the Netherlands who emerged as the deserving winners. Their strong batting performance and disciplined bowling effort proved to be the difference in the end.

Overall, the match provided an exciting contest between the two teams, with notable individual performances from Vikramjit Singh, Wesley Barresi, Ayaan Khan, and Bilal Khan. It showcased the spirit of competition and the determination of players to leave their mark on the game.
8:42 PM IST, 5:12 PM Local Time | The umpires are having a chat again regarding the light. Remember we don't have a floodlight facility in Harare. Oman are 74 runs behind the DLS par total at the moment. Alright, they are shaking hands now. Netherlands win by 74 runs (DLS).
