Player Bio

An explosive all-rounder, Ayaan Khan is a professional cricketer for Oman national team. Born and brought up in Bhopal, Ayaan played age-group cricket for Madhya Pradesh and also broke into the Senior state squad for the Ranji Trophy.

The Bhopal-born all-rounder warmed the bench for a few years before making his debut in the 2015-16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Soon opportunities started to dry up and he migrated to Oman in 2017 in search of a better future in cricket. After serving off a three-year cooling period playing domestic cricket in Oman, Ayaan made his entry into the national team on the basis of decent performances in domestic cricket.

The 29-year old made his ODI debut against Nepal in September 2021 and was also named in Oman’s squad for the T20 World Cup. A classy left-arm batter and a part-time left-arm finger spinner, Ayaan would be looking to take Omani cricket to new heights.
