That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Prince Suman signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hitesh Peddurwar and Scorer / Analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.

Richie Berrington (Scotland Captain):" Important win, I knew it would be hard. A good overall performance. This morning's first 10 overs were challenging, but the partnership gave us a strong footing. We anticipated that every game would be challenging. We faced a few obstacles off the pitch, but we remain quite confident. Three separate matchwinners for us demonstrate the character of our team. We understand the value of each and every point, so the game on Tuesday against Sri Lanka will be crucial. We have a strong sense of purpose and realize we must improve with each game. So far, support has been excellent; hopefully, this will continue."
Zeeshan Maqsood(Oman Skipper): " Yeah definitely we did well in the last few games, we didn't do well in this game but we can take some positives from this game. Like Bilal Khan's 5 wicket haul, he was outstanding. In the second innings, we didn't start well with the bat, later Khushi and Ayaan batted well for us.

Yeah, being in the super six is also a positive for us. Still, we have to rebuild, regroup take some time off the cricket, and come back strong. Yeah, definitely there is so much positive and we have hope. If we beat any one or two sides in the super six you never know what is going to happen. Still, our goal is to play the world cup in India."
Brandon McMullen(Player of the match): " Yeah, it was a great day, a great way to finish. I thought our bowlers were clinical. Greaves finished off perfectly. I tried to keep it as simple as possible and tried to play in my own way. We will try to play our best cricket against Srilanka score some more runs and take more wickets."
Brandon McMullen is the player of the match!!
8:08 PM IST, 4:38 PM Local| Chris Greaves unleashed absolute havoc with his exceptional bowling skills as he extracted 5 wickets. His outstanding performance helped his team to win the game by 76 and secure their qualification for the Super Sixes stage.

In pursuit of Scotland's 321 runs, Kashyap Prajapati and Jatinder Singh spearheaded the innings for  Oman. The pair faced a daunting challenge from the bowlers, struggling to score runs but they managed to score 25/0 runs after the first powerplay. However, Brandon McMullen got the first breakthrough in the 11th over when he bowled Prajapati for 12(32).

Zeeshan Maqsood and Aqib Ilyas tried to steer the sinking ship but they failed to do that as Maqsood departed after scoring 08(16) runs. That was soon followed by a huge scalp of well-settled Ilyas for 31(37).

Scotland spinners bowled beautifully in the middle phase and the boundaries dried up but Naseem Khushi alongside Shoaib Khan got well settled in the middle and kept the scoreboard ticking. This duo glued a partnership of 105 runs for the 7th wicket. The right-hander(Naseem Khushi) swatted a quickfire 69(53) and created a slender chance but it was Chris Greaves once again who brought Scotland back into the game by dismissing Khushi.

Following Khushi’s wicket, Oman required 96 runs from the last 25 balls and the target proved a little too much for Shoaib to chase down alone. Nonetheless,  Shoaib scored 36 (42)  but was unable to get his team over the line.  Chris Greaves stood out for Scotland, showcasing his skill and picking up 5 wickets while conceding  53 runs in his 10 overs, while  Mark Watt, Brandon McMullen, Adrian Neill, and Michael Leask extracted solitary wickets each.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, Scotland scored 320. Scotland played aggressive cricket throughout the innings despite losing Christopher McBride in the first over. Matthew Cross looked good for his 27(55) before falling in the 19th over.

Brandon McMullen(136 runs off 121 balls) and Richie Berrington(60 runs off 62 balls) started scoring at a rapid pace Especially,  McMullenand was the aggressor among them as the right-hander played with authority and went on to complete his 1st ODI century in a jiffy.  The duo stitched a 138-run stand for the 3rd wicket. Tomas Mackintosh played a short cameo of 32 runs off 23 balls and Mark Watt chipped in with 25 runs and took their team to a total of 320 runs.

Oman's bowling attack was led by the outstanding Bilal Khan, who proved to be the star with a remarkable five-wicket haul in his 10-over spell. Fayyaz Butt made a valuable contribution, claiming a couple of wickets, while Jay Odedra scalped one wicket.

Stick around for the post-match presentations…….
