Player Bio

A veteran of the Oman cricket team, Bilal Khan is an Omani cricketer who primarily plays as a bowler in the national side.

A left-arm medium-pace bowler, Khan made his T20I debut for Oman against Hong Kong in 2015. He was the highest wicket-taker in the series with 7 under his name.

The following year, he made his List-A debut for Oman and was often touted as the next big thing of Oman cricket.

2018 proved to be a fruitful year for Khan. He was included in the side for the Asia Cup Qualifiers tournament, where he finished as the highest wicket-taker for Oman with 10 scalps in just 5 matches.

Khan proved his mettle with the ball in the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament. Khan hogged the spotlight and bagged 12 wickets in five matches and was also adjudged the player of the series for his scintillating display of pace bowling.

In 2019, he made his ODI debut for Oman against Namibia. Khan’s hardwork paid off as the pacer was roped in the Oman squad for the 2021 ICC World T20.

A wily pacer with a knack for picking up wickets at regular intervals, Khan has been the mainstay of the Oman side ever since his debut. He’ll be hoping for a stellar show in the 2021 World T20. All eyes will be on him as Oman is set to begin their journey on their home turf.
