Richie Berrington (Scotland Captain): " Absolutely. After the win against Ireland, we had to adapt to the conditions and perform better. We had to weather the storm and glad we did it. Yes, we had to show patience and manage the situation. Good to get some partnerships out there and get to 280+. Leask, Watt helped me a lot with the bat. Yes, we are here and looking to take wickets. That helps and that was the plan. We kept getting wickets at regular intervals unlike last match where we let them off the hook. Yes, pleasing to see the improvement. Yes, cannot get complacent and we have a tough game against Oman coming up on Sunday. So, we will take it one game at a time and won't think about the Super 6 at this stage. Yes, looking forward to the upcoming games."
Muhammad Waseem (UAE Captain): "We started pretty well and took 6 wickets for 115-120 but their captain played very well and took the game away from us. Yeah, started well but lost a few wickets quickly. I think we need some patience. Yeah, we can't qualify now but we want to win that and look to put some points on the table."
Richie Berrington (Player of the Match): "Yeah, pleasing for me to make a contribution today to the team to get up to a good score. Yeah, as we expected the first hour there was assistance for the bowlers and UAE bowlers bowled really well. They asked a lot of questions of us. We were under pressure losing early wickets. Leask came in and took the pressure off, with Watt at the end. I was trying to run hard and put the ball in the gaps. Whatever we do, we have to be our best and try to execute our skills as best as we can. "
