4:30 PM IST, 1:00 PM Local Time | Well that's all she wrote for this match folks! Join us for the other matches going on LIVE around the grounds!

This is Anirudh, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Hitesh and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer! See you on the next one!
Dasun Shanaka| Sri Lanka Captain: " See it's not about the toss actually it's about the intent, I think Lahiru and Kasun started pretty well and showed their intent. We don't take any team lightly we give our 100 percent.

Yeah, Hasaranga is the magician whenever I give the ball to him he delivers. Good to see that he is scalping five wickets and getting the Player of the Match awards. Yeah, the future is bright, the support staff and management have done a good job to keep the environment calm."
Zeeshan Maqsood | Oman Captain: "Definitely to play against Sri Lanka is a proud moment, we learnt a lot from them. We lost too many wickets early on, and Ayyan's innings is the only positive we can take, but Hasaranga's spell was fantastic. We are tested now and we know what kind of strategy we want to have while batting first. We still have two wins and we want to qualify, We have to forget this game and move on. He played very well, unfortunately he didn't get to a half-century but he was good today."
Wanindu Hasaranga (Player of the Match): "Yeah, of course, I am enjoying bowling here as you know this is a very good pitch to bowl for a leg spinner. The wicket was good and I just tried to bowl at the stumps. I do my normal basic things. Fast bowlers bowled very well, Lahiru bowled pretty well and Kasun supported him. These matches are very helpful for the world cup and the tournament."
Wanindu Hasaranga is the Player of the Match!!!!
4:17 PM IST, 12:47 PM Local Time | Sri Lanka complete a dominant victory! They defeat a hapless Oman side by 10 wickets! With this win, Sri Lanka go top of the table in Group A and solidify their chances to qualify the World Cup!

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first, this decision was spot on and it launched them straight into dream land! Lahiru Kumara was the threat in the beginning as he ran through the Oman top order, leaving them reeling at 21/4 after the first 10 overs.

From there, Jatinder Singh and Ayyan Khan gave Oman a little hope, as the duo went onto stitch together a 52 run-stand! However, Wanindu Hasaranga upped the level, as the leggie went onto a bowl a triple wicket maiden first and then pick up 2 further wickets to complete a fifer and end the Oman innings for a total of just 98 runs!

Come the chase, Sri Lanka would have wanted to chase this down quickly and that's exactly what they did. Nissanka opened the proceedings with a boundary off the first ball and Sri Lanka never looked back. Dimuth Karunaratne smashed an unbeaten 61 runs off 51 balls, and he was ably supported by Nissanka, who stayed unbeaten too on 37 runs off 39 balls to guide their team to a comprehensive victory!

Oman will want to move on from this defeat quickly and get back to winning ways as they aim to advance to Super 6s! Sri Lanka meanwhile showed off their class and quality against an inferior Oman side to put up a statement victory in this tournament!
