That's all from the coverage of the Eliminator of CPL 2023. Don't forget to join us tomorrow morning for the Qualifier 1 between Guyana Amazon Warriors up against Trinbago Knight Riders. Stay tuned to our network for all other cricketing actions across the globe and across formats.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash alongside scorer/analyst Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Brandon King (Jamaica Tallawahs Captain): "We do it every year and keep doing it every time. So, happy with that. The same coaches are doing the job and I have enjoyed the challenge being captain and guys have helped me out. I am seeing day by day and working to get back to 100%. Mohammad Amir felt some tightness and come back stronger. Hopefully, he pulls up fit. I think I am proud of the bowling effort and Allen was the standout. He is a quality player. I think it was a tricky wicket and we had to absorb a little bit of pressure to get the job done and glad we did it. I think it does not matter whom we face in Qualifier 2. I think we are ready for either team."
Sikandar Raza (St. Lucia Kings Captain): "We didn't think the conditions would be as spin friendly because none of the games that we have seen previously was this spin friendly. But I still believe, doesn't matter what the conditions are, you can't fight the conditions, but you're going to have to make a plan. I just thought we sat on the back foot far too long before taking the game to the opposition and that cost us the game.

Matthew has been one of the shining stars for us. The whole I mean, apart from the game that he missed because of the injury, but he's been pretty spot on and he's been a real fighter in our team and, yes, he certainly was a shining star for us today. I just hope he had a few more guys who could fight like Matthew Forde would have been a different story.

[About not selecting Sean Williams] So cricket is always very easy in retrospect, as you know. But we thought, given the conditions, we thought we needed a leg spinner as well. Going against Jamaica, we've got two off-spinners, we've got a left-arm spinner, so we thought we needed a leg spinner as well and I thought the selection was good. Rather than looking at that, I just thought the guys who were selected ahead of the shot, if you look at the quality of Sean Williams sitting on the bench and some guys are getting the not to play ahead of him, I just thought we had to prove that we deserve to play, which, unfortunately, we couldn't today.

[Message for the fans] Listen, as much as things haven't gone our way, the amount of messages and the amount of care and support we have received all over the country and on different islands, we are very grateful for that. Yes, we did not manage to qualify for the finals, but we've managed to play it. We managed to collect a decent bunch of boys that could take this team to a trophy. If it's not this year, hopefully, next year, we remain hopeful and hopefully, it will happen for us."

Fabian Allen (Player of the Match): "Yeah, it's a difficult surface we just bowled in the right area. Yeah, I think when I look in the dressing room, the spirit is good. We continue to do well for the last two games, we are doing well and now we've come up with a good score. We're always ready and we're always ready for the challenge. And today was the night for me to execute. I think, to be honest, we are confident last year we won it. We were in a similar position and we just came back this year and hopefully, we can win it again. [Which team he would like to face Friday night] Well, I would take any team now. We are unbeatable now."
Player of the Match: Fabian Allen
7:51 AM IST, 10:21 PM Local Time: A commanding performance from the defending champions Jamaica Tallawahs as they beat the St. Lucia Kings by 5 wickets with 16 balls to spare. They are through to Qualifier 2 while the Kings bow out of the competition. In all facets of the game, the Tallawahs were the better side and outplayed their opponents.

In pursuit of a paltry target of 126 for the win, the Tallawahs came out all guns blazing courtesy of their openers Brandon King and Alex Hales. The skipper King scored 30 off 19 balls while Hales scored 24 off 17 balls. They suffered a middle order wobble before Raymon Reifer played a responsible knock according to the situation as he remained unbeaten on 30* off 32 balls. Imad Wasim chipped in as he got to double figures and built a good partnership with Reifer. Loads of extras were given by the fielding side as the chase was done in 17.2 overs.

Matthew Forde was the pick of the bowlers for the Kings with figures of 4/23 in 4 overs. A wicket for Khary Pierre as well. The bowlers tried their hearts out but could not defend such a paltry score. The Tallawahs were the deserving winners in the end.

Earlier in the game, the Kings never got going after being put into bat first here. Charles and Rajapaksa got into double figures. Roston Chase top scored with a good 40 off 36 balls. Sikandar Raza got 19 off 12 balls while Khary Pierre got 13* off 8 balls. They crawled their way to 125/9 in 20 overs. Just 3 extras given by the fielding side.

Fabian Allen was the pick of the bowlers for the Tallawahs as he finished with figures of 4/25 in 4 overs. Chris Green supported him well and finished with 2/19 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Imad Wasim, Shamar Springer, and Nicholson Gordon. They lost Mohammad Amir to a hamstring strain but that did not affect them as the others stood up.

So, a win by 5 wickets for the Tallawahs as they march into Qualifier 2. Stick around for the presentations.
Boundary check here. Has it landed on the ropes here? Yes, six is given and the game is over. The Tallawahs win the game.
17.2 K Pierre to R Reifer
6 SIX! That's it, Reifer finishes things in style! The defending champions, Jamaica Tallawahs move to Qualifier 2. Half tracker on the stumps. Reifer sits back and pulls it hard towards the deep mid-wicket. The fielder in the deep puts a full-length dive but fails to stop it and the ball lands on the boundary cushion so it will be six runs. The Jamaica Tallawahs have defeated St. Lucia Kings thrice this season and they will play the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2.
17.2 K Pierre to R Reifer
WD Drops the ball short down the leg. Reifer misses the pull. Wide signaled by the umpire.
17.1 K Pierre to R Reifer
0 An appeal for caught behind but the umpire is unmoved. Length delivery sliding down the leg. Reifer misses the flick and the keeper appeals for a caught behind. Raza sends it upstairs. The ultra edge shows it's off the pads so the decision remains the same.
Over rate penalty to be imposed now as they are behind the innings timer.
