So a couple of fantastic recent visits at the Eden Gardens for Jaiswal as he won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final being part of the champion Mumbai side last year in November and now today, one of the greatest knocks in IPL history smashing the ball in all parts of the ground and beyond!

That's it from our side tonight. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Ayan Chatterjee, Megh Mandaliya and scorer Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Yashasvi Jaiswal (POTM): "I always want to go out and play well. Its a nice feeling and I'm really happy that we won. I try my best and I think about process a lot. What is my preparation and what is my process is important. I trust and believe in myself and I back myself out there.

The winning shot was the greatest feeling as I always wanted to finish the game. I have been learning to play till the end and win game for team. That is my motto. I really wanted to do that. As many matches I play, I will try to finish the game. That is more important for me I guess.

I am grateful, I am just trying my best I guess. I was just thinking to make my run rate high. Me and Sanju bhai were talking about that. If we will score quickly then it can help our run rate as well. I was just trying to hit where I can.

Which run out? [on the Buttler run out]. It happens in a game. No one does it purposefully. It gives me ability also to carry on and make sure I am there. Sanju bhai came in and said 'Don't worry just play your game. You're in a really nice touch, keep going.' I was okay.

All I want to say is that I am blessed to play all the great players in IPL. I really appreciate it as a really great platform that a youngster can come and get experience from the really big players and that's how we improve I guess."
Yashasvi Jaiswal is the player of the match.
Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "Absolutely, I didn't have to do anything. Just put the bat on the ball and get to the other end. We know what Yashasvi can do. He loves the powerplay. He is really enjoying it.

It's time to give Yuzi the tag of a legend now. I think he has been bowling superbly for the last few years. We all are grateful to have him on the side. You don't need to speak anything to him. He knows what he wants to do.

Yes, I think I am happy. I think we have two more quarter-finals to play. The pressure is never off. You know how IPL works. Each and every decision you make is important. You can never relax. We are almost there and you can see the dressing room atmosphere considering the way a legend like Buttler throws his wicket away for
Yashasvi. Very happy but we have a few more games to go."
Catch of the Match: Shimron Hetmyer.
Longest Six of the Match: Sanju Samson (92m).
Most Fours of the Match: Yashasvi Jaiswal (12 Fours).
Most Valuable Asset of the Match: Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Gamechanger of the Match: Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Electric Striker of the match: Yashasvi Jaiswal.
10:49 PM IST: Time for the presentation ceremony.
Nitish Rana (Kolkata Knight Riders Captain): "I think it was a 170-180 wicket as I mentioned during the toss. We did a lot of mistakes batting first and as a result, we lost two points today. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been batting well this tournament and I thought of opening the bowling attack. I don't consider myself a part-time bowler. People say a lot of things when things don't go in your favor. But credit goes to Jaiswal. He started with the first delivery and everything went in favor of him today."
11:38 PM IST: Quality batting from Yashasvi Jaiswal and skipper Sanju Samson has taken Rajasthan Royals to another win as they get to the third spot in the points table with their sixth win. This is also the quickest chase in terms of overs faced this season surpassing Gujarat Titans chase against RR themselves in match 48!

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and put KKR to bat first at the Eden Gardens restricting the dangerous batting line up to 149/8 in 20 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal (4/25) was the hero with the ball alongside a good spell from Trent Boult (2/15).

Venkatesh Iyer's half century went in vain as Yashasvi Jaiswal was in a hurry to catch the flight smashing sixes off the first 2 balls of the innings against Nitish Rana scoring 26 off the very first over. KKR got a bonus wicket in form of Jos Buttler who sacrificed his wicket to save Yashasvi from the same fate.

KKR had scored 37 for the loss of 2 wickets in the powerplay but the score was surpassed in 2 overs thanks to hard hitting Jaiswal as the scoreboard read 40/2 after 2 overs! Jaiswal got to the fastest ever half century in IPL history getting to the mark in 13 balls.

He added unbeaten 121 runs with skipper Sanju Samson who displayed the same intent with the bat in hand. Both the batters hit 5 sixes each. Total fours in the KKR innings were totaled at 8 but Jaiswal alone hit 12 fours in his monstruous knock of 98 not out.

Samson defended the last ball of the 12th over to give a chance to Jaiswal getting to his second century of this season but with only three runs needed for the win and 6 for three figures, Jaiswal could only hit a boundary along the carpet.

The KKR spin triumvirate of Varun Chakravarthy (0/28), Sunil Narine (0/13) and Suyash Sharma (0/22) tried to keep the scoring rate down but such was the ferocity of the two batters that nothing could have gone wrong barring that run out of Jos Buttler who sacrificed his wicket in a mix-up.

Jaiswal's knock is also the highest score by an uncapped player at Eden Gardens in the history of the Indian Premier League!

Stay tuned for the post match festivities.
13.1 S Thakur to Y Jaiswal
4 FOUR RUNS!! Jaiswal doesn't get to his ton but Rajasthan has chased the quickest target of this season beating a record set against themselves! Round the wicket comes Jaiswal's Mumbai teammate Shardul Thakur. Bowls a full toss wide outside the off stump. Jaiswal shuffles across and gets in position to play the sweep. Finds the boundary in the leg side and punches the air in delight and shows the team's badge on his shirt!
Yashasvi Jaiswal needs a maximum to get to his 2nd IPL century.

12.6 S Sharma to S Samson
0 Samson blocks it to give Jaiswal the chance to move to his hundred. Sacrifices his own half century. That's the skipper for you. Full length quicker ball at 102.6kph on the stumps. Blocks it going deep in the crease. Reminds me of MS Dhoni and Kohli against South Africa in a WT20 match.
12.5 S Sharma to Y Jaiswal
1 Leading edge but in the gap through point. Full length googly on the middle stump. Jaiswal leans forward looking to turn in the leg side. Single takes him to 94.
12.4 S Sharma to Y Jaiswal
0 88.6kph. Flighted and fuller length googly on the fifth stump line. Jaiswal is forward to turn in the on side but is beaten on the outside edge.
