That's it from what was another Super Sunday that we had for you. Two thrilling games and hope that you enjoyed our coverage. We will be back tomorrow with LSG taking on RCB from Lucknow. Till then, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya and Hitesh Peddurwar alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Yashasvi Jaiswal (Player of the Match): "When I got the century that was the best moment and thanked God for giving me such a beautiful time. Definitely can happen. Always want to follow dreams and follow the process and do it well. I am mentally strong and concentrate on fitness and have the right food habits. My favourite shot is straight drive and cover drive and also going inside over over extra cover. Thank you so much sir. It means a lot."
Rohit Sharma(Mumbai Indians Skipper): " It's my 35th birthday not 36th (On Harsha saying him Happy 36th Birthday). Haha... No, it's the 36th only, I was joking (On Harsha saying oh, they gave me one more). Yeah, it was very pleasing to see how we chased down the target, last time we came close to the target but today we got over the line.

Yeah, I mean see it's a big shoe fill, Polly has done for us for many years. Tim has a lot of power, it's good to have a player like him at the end as bowlers need to keep thinking about where to bowl.

Yeah I mean look, we need to make the changes according to the conditions and it's difficult to make the changes sometimes. We spoke about it before the start of the season. See, with Jofra he has been struggling with lots of injuries so he needs some time to get match-fit, it's good to see him bowling this way,  his pace was a big positive for us and we know how much better a batter is SKY, this sort of innings from him was just around the corner.

Yeah, Yashasvi was timing the ball perfectly, last year I didn't see these many sixes. He just said that he is working in the gym, obviously, if he plays this way, it's good for the Indian team and RR as well."

12:08 PM IST | Time for post-match presentations...
Tim David (Mumbai Indians): "Yeah, you know we needed a win. The crowd was going crazy and supporting us. For our confidence, we needed such a performance. To be honest, we weren't at our best, needed such a game to get back into the groove. To be honest, everyone needed to be targeted and reacted as they came. It was good batting conditions. I wanted to play such an innings for a while. They were bowling wide outside off and I was like, taking down if they go wrong and end up bowling in the slot or full toss. In the final over, I went across and stayed on the front foot to close down the angle of the bowler. It was good to be batting till the end. Every time the bowler missed the yorker, it was like giving a chance for the batter and I gave my best."
Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals Skipper): "Yeah, absolutely we were discussing in the timeout, the way Surya was batting in the middle we discussed getting him out quickly. In the end, Tim David took them over the line. Yeah, it was getting a bit wet, we are wiping the ball. Yeah, have experienced bowlers bowling in this situation. Absolutely, in the last 9 games we played, we did pretty well, nothing to take away from our players they have been good, and they have shown high standards. Yeah, Yashasvi played a magnificent inning but unfortunately, it ended on the wrong side but very happy for him personally."
11:51 PM IST: Tim David finishes things off in style as Mumbai Indians pull off a heist and secure a 6-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals and keep their hopes alive in the competition. History created in the 1000th match of the tournament as 200+ has been chased down for the first time at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Chasing 213 for an improbable win, Mumbai Indians lost skipper Rohit Sharma early. Ishan Kishan struggled for his 28 off 23 balls. Cameron Green provided the initial impetus with his 44 off 26 balls. Suryakumar Yadav was special in his 55 off 29 balls and as long as he was there, MI were cruising to the target. But Mumbai did not have much to worry. Tilak Varma stayed unbeaten for his 29 off 21 balls. But it was the big man Tim David who powered MI to the win. His unbeaten 45 off 14 balls powered MI to the win with 3 balls to spare as he hit 3 sixes in a row in the final over to win the game for the home side.

For the Rajasthan Royals point of view, Ravichandran Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 2/27 in 4 overs. A wicket apiece for Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma. Yuzvendra Chahal and Jason Holder went wicketless and were taken to the cleaners to say the least.

Earlier in the game, it was the Yashasvi Jaiswal show after Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat first. His maiden IPL hundred powered the innings forward. He scored a breath-taking 124 off 62 balls with 16 fours and 8 sixes to his name. The next best score was extras as 25 were given by the Mumbai Indians. Jos Buttler was the next highest score with 18 runs and it showed the dominance of one man in Jaiswal as RR ended with 212/7 in 20 overs. It looked enough at that stage, but it was not to be in the end.

Piyush Chawla was the pick of the bowlers for Mumbai Indians with 2/34 in 4 overs. Arshad Khan picked up 3 wickets for 39 runs in 3 overs. A wicket apiece for Jofra Archer and Riley Meredith as well although they went for runs. It was a tough day for the bowlers of both sides as over 400 runs were scored in Mumbai.

So, Mumbai Indians win this game by 6 wickets with 3 balls to spare to climb upto 7th in the points table. Stick around for the presentation ceremony.
Take a bow mate..... This is the first time that 200+ score have been chased at Wankhede Stadium. Tim David does it for Mumbai Indians as he hits three sixes in a row in the final over.
19.3 J Holder to T David
6 SIXXX!!!! David finishes it off in style. What a hit this is from the Aussie! But guess what? This is poor bowling from the big Jase. Another high full toss on the body of the batter this time. David's eye lights up and he heaves it away over square leg for a match-winning six! Two times in the day, 200+ chases have been done successfully! With 17 needed off 6 balls, David smacks three in a row to seal the deal. Mumbai win by 6 wickets and this is David's win! 200+ has never been chased here at Mumbai and this is the record which was in the making. A perfect day and a perfect end to a milestone match. The 1000th IPL match witnessed a thriller! Rohit and the Mumbai dug-out are up on their feet and so are the crowd at Wankhede!
The crowd at Wankhede is on their feet.... Mumbai Indians need 5 runs in 4 balls now.
19.2 J Holder to T David
6 SIXX MORE!!! What a blinder of a knock he is playing. Back-to-back sixes from him. Another high full toss outside off. David thumps it with a pull and pummels it over mid-wicket for a biggie. What a hit. It went for a 84m six.
200 comes up for the Mumbai Indians... and 50 partnership comes up between this duo. MI needs 11 runs in 5 balls.
