Player Bio

Tim David is a Singaporean-Australian cricketer who plays for the Singapore national cricket team.

David started playing cricket in Australia and was a part of the Perth Scorchers squad for the 2017 BBL season.

In 2019, David joined the training squad for the Singapore cricket team ahead of the Regional Finals of the 2018-19 ICC T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers Tournament.

A right-handed batsman and an occasional off-spin bowler, David made his Singapore debut in a T20I game against Qatar in 2019.

The flamboyant all-rounder made his List-A debut for Singapore, against Qatar, in the 2019 Cricket World Cup Challenge League A Tournament. He finished the tournament as the highest-run getter, with 369 runs in five matches.

Ahead of the 2020 Big Bash League season, David was signed by the Hobart Hurricanes. In the opening game of the tournament against Sydney Sixers, the all-rounder scored a quickfire 58 runs, and helped his team past the victory line.

A talented all-round player, Tim David loves playing in the shorter forms of the game. The exposure he has received in the Big Bash League has helped in improving his performance at the international level.
