So, that's a wrap of this game. Don't go too far away as we have loads of games coming your way in our network. Switch tabs to follow all the live action from the various tournaments. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide alongside scorer/analyst Bishal Mandal. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodbye and CHEERS!
Kathryn Bryce (Hero of the Match): "It’s great to have the support of the family. It was a stressful end. There was a bit of confusion because of the runner. No one practices for it. We knew we were very close to a win after we got close a couple of times. With Sophie getting down early, it was important to the responsibility. It was holding a bit on the pitch and the change-ups were important. I think we know we had to build a partnership and take it deep."

6:07 PM IST, 1:37 PM Local Time: We have seen a thriller of a game here at Old Trafford. The match swung to and fro from one team to another. In the end, it was the hosts Manchester Originals Women who held their nerves to win the game by 3 wickets with one ball to spare. They played the key moments better and got the better of Northern Superchargers by only a small margin.

Chasing a target of 108 for the win in 100 balls, The Originals did not get off to the best of starts as the top order was blown away. Morris and Threlkeld got to double figures before falling and they were 40/5 in the chase at one stage. They were rescued by the partnership of Katheryn Bryce and Amanda Jade Wellington who put on 65 for the sixth wicket and won the game for the home team out of nowhere. Bryce scored 32 off 27 balls while Wellington was unbeaten on 33* off 26 balls. Two more wickets fell at the end, but they held their nerves to win by 3 wickets. 3 extras given by the fielding side.

Georgia Wareham was the pick of the bowlers for Northern Superchargers finishing with figures of 3/7 in 20 balls. A wicket apiece for Kate Cross, Smith, and Higham. They tried their best but had a very low score to defend and eventually lost the game.

Earlier in the game, Northern Superchargers won the toss and elected to bat first. Kelly went early while Jemimah Rodrigues made 19 off 14 balls. Skipper Armitage held the innings together and scored 46 off 43 balls. Alice Davidson Richards gave him good company with 27 off 26 balls. But the rest of the batters faltered as they ended with 107/8 in 100 balls. 6 extras were given by the fielding side.

All the Originals bowlers bowled well. A couple of wickets apiece for Mahika Kaur, Kathryn Bryce, and Amanda Jade Wellington while Fria Morris picked up a wicket as well to her name. The bowlers did their job and then the batters just about did their job to give Manchester the win.

So, Manchester Originals Women win this game by 3 wickets with one ball to spare. Stick around to hear from the Hero Of the Match.
99b L Higham to George
2 In the gap and the batters scamper back for the second. That's it. Katie George hits the winning runs for the home side. Higham bowls it short and well outside off, George hangs back and cuts it in the gap in the off side. Armitage chases after it and throws but can't stop the second.

2 runs required from 2 balls now.
98b L Higham to A Wellington
W RUN OUT. Higham tosses this up on the stumps, Wellington steps out of the crease and flicks it straight to mid wicket. She sets off for a quick run and Ecclestone's runner Threlkeld responds but there was never a run in it. The fielder throws at the keeper who collects it and whips the bails as the runner is well short of the crease. Ecclestone departs and the Originals Women still require 2 runs from 2 balls.
97b L Higham to S Ecclestone
1 Tossed up delivery on the pads and Ecclestone slog sweeps it to the left of deep mid wicket for a single.

Sophie Ecclestone walks out to bat. Remember, injured her calf while bowling and a runner is there for her.
96b L Higham to K Bryce
W WICKET!!! Is there a twist in the tale? Higham from round the wicket bowls an off-break on a length on the stumps, Bryce looks to reverse sweep it but misses and wears it on the back leg in front of the stumps. A loud appeal and the finger is raised. The Originals Women don't have any reviews left and Bryce departs.
Just 3 runs are now needed off 5 balls.

2 A slower delivery on the fuller side, Bryce waits and works it with soft hands in the mid wicket region and scampers back for the second. Excellent running between the wickets from both these batters.
94b Richards to A Wellington
1 Another slower delivery down leg and Wellington hits it to short fine leg and steals a quick single.
