Milestone
That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Do switch tabs as the Men's clash between the London Spirit and the Northern Superchargers begins shortly. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of scorer Zeeshan Naiyer. Goodbye.
Phoebe Litchfield (Hero of the Match): "I’m so glad that we got done in the end. Not my best innings but Wareham, Jemimah and Crossy did well. It’s awesome to score runs and contribute to wins. It’s exciting and glad to get to London and play here. It’s a dream come true. I haven’t played here before and I was really tense coming here. I’m not the biggest hitter. So I just try to hit in the bigger pockets of the ground."
Hero of the Match: Phoebe Litchfield
10:10 PM IST, 5:40 PM Local Time: Another nail-biting contest and the London Spirit Women fail to hold their nerves as they lose the game and get knocked out of the Women's Hundred 2023. The Northern Superchargers Women beat the London Spirit Women by four wickets to qualify for the finals of the competition. The Spirit's campaign comes to an end. With this, the Manchester Originals Women also get eliminated from the tournament.

Chasing 136, the Superchargers Women lost Marie Kelly early in the innings. Jemimah Rodrigues was joined by Phoebe Litchfield and both built a solid partnership for the second wicket. They didn't allow the Spirit Women to get back in the contest. Both stitched a 49-run stand between them before Rodrigues was trapped in front of the stumps on 30.

Litchfield continued playing her strokes and but lacked support from the other end. She hit some beautiful strokes before holing out in the deep on 38. It allowed the Spirit Women to pull back things. The game went down the wire and with six required from the last set, Georgia Wareham (19*) and Kate Cross (15*) held their nerves to take the Superchargers across the line with a ball to spare. With this four-wicket win, the Northern Superchargers Women qualified for the finals of the Women's Hundred 2023 Competition. Sarah Glenn and Amelia Kerr picked up three and two scalps respectively for the Spirit Women but it wasn't enough as they get knocked out of the competition.

Earlier, the Spirit Women were asked to bat first and they got off to a shaky start. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and didn't quite get going. Danielle Gibson looked good for her 24 but failed to convert the start. In walked Amelia Kerr and played a fantastic knock to keep the Superchargers Women at bay.

Kerr played brilliantly and kept finding regular boundaries. She brought up her maiden fifty in the Hundred Competition and remained unbeaten on 60 off just 32 balls to power the Spirit Women to 135 at the end of their 100 balls. The Superchargers Women picked up seven wickets in total. Their batters then stepped up to chase down the total to take their side to finals of the Women's Hundred 2023 Competition.
99b C Dean to K Cross
1 In the air and dropped. Can you believe it? Norris has dropped a sitter, the batters exchange ends and take their side across the line. Flighted delivery around off, Cross steps out of the crease and swings hard at it but gets a thick outside edge. Norris from cover point moves to her right and gets underneath it but shells it. Knight can't believe it as the batters complete the run and win the game with one ball to spare.
98b C Dean to K Cross
0 Missed stumping chance. Cross steps out of the crease and on seeing it, Dean fires it full around off as Cross fails to get any bat to it. Ghosh behind the stumps fails to collect it cleanly and Cross gets inside the crease. 1 required from 2 now.
97b C Dean to K Cross
4 FOUR!!!! Excellent shot from Kate Cross. That should be the game for the Superchargers Women. Tossed up delivery well outside off, Cross leans into it and square drives it beautifully in the gap between point and cover point for a boundary.
5 from 4 required. Cross on strike.
96b C Dean to G Wareham
1 Dean starts with a fuller delivery on the stumps and Wareham works it straight back past the bowler for a single.
Northern Superchargers Women require 6 runs from 5 balls.

4 FOUR!!! A misfield in the deep and it runs away for four. Norris bowls it on a length on off, Wareham makes room and drives it uppishly past diving Knight at extra covers. The fielder at long off runs to her left and dives but fails to stop it. A much-needed boundary for the Superchargers.
94b T Norris to K Cross
1 Fuller delivery on middle and Cross heaves it off the inside half of the bat towards deep mid wicket for only a single.
93b T Norris to G Wareham
1 A slower delivery on the stumps, Wareham steps out and hits it towards long on for a single.
92b T Norris to K Cross
1 Length delivery around off, Cross swings hard at it and gets a leading edge towards deep point for a run.
91b T Norris to K Cross
2 A low full toss on the stumps and Cross drives it straight down the ground for a couple of runs.
Equation: Northern Superchargers Women require 15 runs from 10 balls.

Tara Norris to bowl the penultimate over.
