That's it from all of us for this game. Do join us tomorrow for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing on, on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer Ashok Dayma.
Jos Buttler (Hero of the Match): "Yeah, fantastic. Obviously, at the halfway stage, I'm probably not sure. It's quite a tough fielding innings, but we know it's a fantastic wicket here. Short side, wet grass, and I thought the start we got off to Phil Salt was amazing to get us way ahead of the game and we were able to continue that momentum.

I wasn't really sure, to be honest. I was a bit sort of disappointed, thought I could have done a few things differently as captain as well, but you've got to park that and then get ready to bat.

Yeah, delighted. Yeah, I can't wait to play in the final. I think the competition is fantastic and going from strength to strength and being part of the final tomorrow will be amazing."

Hero of the Match: Jos Buttler
1:50 AM IST, 9:20 PM Local Time: That’s it. The Manchester Originals chase down 197 with seven wickets in hand to knock the Southern Brave out of the Men’s Hundred 2023 Competition. Their bowlers went on a journey but contributions from their top-order batters, with skipper Jos Buttler leading from the front helped them chase down the total. Close to 400 runs were scored tonight and the Originals emerged victorious to seal a pace in the final.

Chasing a mammoth 197, the Manchester Originals got off to a perfect start, thanks to their dynamic opening pair of Philip Salt and Jos Buttler. They hit boundaries for fun and made full use of the fielding restrictions. The Brave bowlers were clueless as they went on a journey as the Originals posted 61 at the end of the powerplay, the joint-highest score this season. Salt along with Buttler scored 83 off 32 balls before the latter departed three short of his half-century. His 17-ball knock comprised five boundaries and four biggies.

Buttler continued playing strokes from the other end and kept Brave at bay. Max Holden also kept scoring at a brisk rate and didn’t allow the run rate to dip. Buttler brought up his fifty off just 26 balls. Holden scored 31 off 17 balls before falling in the 13th set. Buttler made sure that the required run rate didn’t creep up. Buttler fell on 82 off 46 balls with still 17 required to win but Laurie Evans kept his cool and remained unbeaten on 22 to take his side across the line with four balls to spare.

It was a delayed start earlier due to rain. Jos Buttler, Manchester Originals skipper, won the toss and opted to bowl first with some rain around. They failed to take advantage of the overcast conditions as they bowled poorly up front and conceded too many runs. Finn Allen and Devon Conway got the Brave off to a flying start. They scored 37/0 at the end of the powerplay, with Allen playing aggressively and Conway playing the role of a second fiddle perfectly.

Allen played some fantastic shots and brought up his fifty in no time. The Originals had no answers to the onslaught from Allen as the Brave openers put 112 between them off 65 balls before Allen departed. He hit six boundaries and five maximums before falling on 38-ball 69. In walked James Vince and he went berserk after getting his eye in. He hit the Originals’ bowlers all around the park.

Both Conway and Vince brought up their respective fifties in the last set, with the latter bringing it up in just 24 balls. They scored 61 in the last 20 balls as they posted a mammoth 196 on the board. Devon Conway and James Vince remained unbeaten on 51 and 56 respectively as they finished their innings on a high.

It was all about the batters tonight at The Oval. The Originals win the game to book a place in the final of the Men's Hundred 2023 Competition to be played tomorrow at the home of cricket i.e. the Lord's. There will be a new winner in the Hundred Competition as the Oval Invincibles will lock horns against the Manchester Originals tomorrow in the capital city of England.

6 SIX! Overton finishes things in style! Full-length around off. Overton gets his bat underneath the ball and heaves it over the long-off for a maximum to finish the game. Manchester Originals win by 7 wickets with 4 balls to spare and advance into the final of The Hundred 2023. They will face Oval Invincibles in the grand finale of The Hundred.
Equation: The Manchester Originals require 2 runs from 5 balls.
