11:40 PM IST | That’s a wrap from our end. Thanks to everyone joining in for the match. We appreciate your time, hope you enjoyed the match along with us. On behalf of my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee and along with our scorer Raju Khariya, I, Amit Das, am bidding you all goodbye. Stay tuned with us for more cricketing stuff coming your way, till then Bye-Bye!!!!!!!!

Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain): "Honestly, the pitch is a belter even 250-260 is tough to defend. The bowlers are executing the plans well I am happy with them. Hope we do well in the playoffs. Yes, we are missing a few players and we just looked at who are available and Abbas and the others did was great to see. Yes, Usman Khan was great to see and he did well in BPL. We went with the pitch conditions and he worked out well for us."
Abbas Afridi (Player of the Match): "Thanks to all mighty. I started practise and said that I can win the Player of the Match award. I bowled at the nets and tried the yorkers and got success. New ball takes adjustment and great to be successful. The management helps us a lot especially Rizwan bhai. The others have helped us well a lot."
Time for the presentation ceremony.
Stay tuned for the presentation coming your way shortly.....
Mohammad Nawaz (Captain Quetta Gladiators): "Pitch behaved differently. We struggled due to fielding. Had a balanced team on paper, but couldn't gain momentum. Misfielding cost us the match if you see. We have to rectify our mistakes and come back well next year."
Ihsanullah (Player, Multan Sultans): "Thanks to God, we are like family. Abbas played really well. My thought is to test the batter. Abbas and I are brothers. Head Coach, and support stuffs are like family."
11:17 PM IST: We have had another high scoring game in Rawalpindi where a record number of runs were scored. Loads of records were broken and in the end, it was the Multan Sultans who held their nerves to win the game by 9 runs. They climb upto 2nd in the points table while Quetta Gladiators bow out of the competition. They can hold their head high as they fought well in the chase.

Chasing a mammoth 263 for an improbable win, Quetta lost Jason Roy early. Martin Guptill looked good with his 37 off 14 balls. Yousuf top scored with 67 off 36 balls. Iftikhar Ahmed scored 53 off 31 balls. Umar Akmal scored a great cameo of 28 off 10 balls. Skipper Mohammad Nawaz scored 16 off 7 balls. Qais Ahmad and Naveen Ul Haq were both unbeaten on 17* off 7 balls. 11 extras were given by the fielding side as Quetta ended with 253/8 in 20 overs.

It was a tough day for the bowlers in general. Abbas Afridi was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up a fifer and a hat-trick today. He had figures of 5/47. Ihsanullah picked up a couple of wickets but went for 58 runs. Anwar Ali got the other wicket to fall as he went for 48 in 3 overs. Usama Mir went wicketless, but kept things relatively tight.

Earlier in the game, Multan Sultans powered their way to 262/3 thanks to the fastest century scored by Usman Khan who got his 100 off 36 balls as he scored 120 off 43 balls. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan played second fiddle for his 55 off 29 balls. Rossouw went early for 15 off 9 balls. Tim David finished things off with an unbeaten 43 off 25 balls while Kieron Pollard was with him with an unbeaten 23 off 14 balls. 6 extras were given by the fielding side as they ended with 262/3 in 20 overs.

Qais Ahmad got a couple of wickets for the Gladiators but went for 77 runs in his 4 overs. Mohammad Nawaz got a wicket for 50 runs in 4 overs. Naveen bowled well despite going wicketless. Hafeez bowled an over for 8 runs. The rest of the bowlers were taken to the cleaners on what was a batting paradise on offer in Rawalpindi.

So, a win for Sultans by 9 runs means the Gladiators are out and we know our semi-finalists for the PSL 2023. Stick around for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way soon.

1 Yorker outside off, steers it away to deep third for one run.
19.4 A Ali to Q Ahmad
1 One run taken! Should have been another one for Anwar here.Pitched up outside off, Qais skied high in the air, Rilee went for the catch and at the right moment he fell down, they take one.
19.3 A Ali to N ul
1 What was that! Tried to play the reverse sweep, then ended up in scoop position, Naveen gets one off the full toss on off stumps.
19.2 A Ali to N ul
4 FOUR!!! Lucky this time.Shuffled across, Anwar followed the batter and pitched right on off stumps with a fuller length. Naveen inside edges this one off to deep fine leg. No one in the deep to cover.
19.1 A Ali to Q Ahmad
1 Only one run off the free hit ball. Pitched outside off, way out of his reach, batter went for the shot but gets one off it.
Anwar Ali bowls a no ball here. Free hit follows.
19.1 A Ali to Q Ahmad
4nb FOUR to start off with. Pitched up in the slot, Qais Ahmed hits straight down the ground over the bowler's head for a boundary. Wait a minute, no-ball has been called! My goodness! Back foot no ball at this time....
