That's a wrap from our end. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Prince Suman and Scorer/Analyst Raju Khariya, I, Amit Das, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌✌
Shaheen Shah Afridi ( Captain, Lahore Qalandar) : "Thanks to God, had a great game today. Hard for the bowlers to bowl, Fakhar batted really well. Happy to finish in top position, will rest some senior players in the next game."
Fakhar Zaman gets Player of the Match Award: "Happy that whenever I score big, we win. It gives some happiness. Played a number of matches in domestic tournaments. Great track to bat on."
Stay tuned for the presentation ceremony....
Shadab Khan (Captain, Islamabad United): " Catches win you matches, disappointed we dropped so many. Nevertheless, its part of a game. I accept that. Today was not our day, will bounce back in the next match."
11:02 PM IST| Prince: A comprehensive win for Lahore Qalandars as they beat Islamabad by 119 runs.

Early jitters for Lahore Qalandars after winning the toss and electing to bat first as they lost Abdullah Shafique early departing in the first over after scoring 1 run when the team score was just 3 runs.

Fakhar Zaman alongside Kamran Ghulam took the charge to rescue their team and posted 65 runs in the powerplay and stitched 122 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket. However, Mohammad Wasim Jr broke this mammoth partnership by dismissing Kamran Ghulam for 41(30).

Sam Billings joined Fakhar Zaman at the crease and both batters contributed 70 runs for the 3rd wicket. In the process, Fakhar Zaman got to his century as he scored 115 runs off 58 balls including 8 fours and 8 sixes, and posted a mammoth score of 226 for a loss of 5 wickets. On the flip side, Fazalhaq Farooqi extracted 3 wickets, while Hasan Ali and Mohammad Wasim Jr shared a solitary wicket each.

In pursuit of a hefty total of 227, Islamabad United started on the worst possible note as the key man Rahmanullah Gurbaz departed for 15 runs off 15 balls. That was soon followed by a huge scalp in the form of Colin Munro 11(6), who was outplayed by Zaman Khan.

Shadab Khan, who was promoted up the order, then joined forces with Alex Hales and they tried to build some partnership but their efforts were halted when Rashid Khan dismissed Shadab Khan. Afterward, David Wiese trapped Alex Hales behind the wicket.

Mubasir Khan, Asif Ali, and Faheem Ashraf failed to impress with a bat today and their inning came to an end with the fall of the 9th wicket as the man in form Azam Khan unfortunately didn't come out to bat due to injury. On the flip side, Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers as he extracted 4 wickets, while Zaman Khan and Haris Rauf extracted a couple of wickets each and David Wiese extracted a solitary wicket.

A comprehensive win for Lahore Qalandars and they will look to carry the momentum in the upcoming matches. On the other side, Islamabad United needs to regroup and come back stronger in the upcoming matches.

Lahore Qalandars extend their impressive run as they defeated Islamabad by a heavy margin of 119 runs.
