So, that's it from this PSL game. Join us tomorrow for another PSL fixture and stick around to our network for more cricketing action across the globe. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saipavan Janaki alongside scorer/analyst Manish Bishnoi. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and Cheers!
Babar Azam( Peshawar Zalmi Captain): " Definitely the bowlers did well and the pitch was not that much to bat, good and we get the back-to-back wickets in the powerplay. 154 was the challenging total,  and we did mistakes dropped the catches, and that cost 20 more runs.  We utilized the powerplay afterward we lost the back-to-back wickets. Neesham built a partnership that was great. Young stars have lots of opportunities there. Neesham performed well in bowling and as he has the experience and he used it today in batting and bowling as well."
Jimmy Neesham (Player of the Match): "No, it was a tough surface. We let them slip to get them to 154. We kept the required rate under control alongside Rovman Powell. Yes, wanted to be aggressive and took the options that were good on that wicket. These conditions were similar to Joburg and nice preparation to this tournament. I think we did well and happy with the win. The advantage of playing in overseas conditions and all over the world keeps me in good rhytm."
Time for the presentation.
Sarfaraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators Captain): "The pitch was favourable to the bowlers as the ball was not coming on. 150 was a par score but we conceded too many boundary balls at the start. You are happy when the youngsters are doing well and improving. We are confident but there are small mistakes and if we can correct them then we will be good. We have to communicate about what the surface is doing, where to bowl and what kind of field to set.. You can say so. We are missing Sir Viv and hope he joins us."
Rovman Powell: "Yeah the plan was to bat with the captain and we need to go and bat, take the game deep. We needed a good partnership when we lost the 3 wickets and (Babar)he just told me to build a partnership and I was able to do that with Neesham. Yeah, I think very good franchise, management has made me feel like family and Darren Summy was there and he was good. I think we played good cricket and we will continue we are disappointed in the last game and keep on improving. The pitch was a little bit good, to be honest."
11:11 PM IST: That's the end of the game and it is Peshawar Zalmi who gets across the line by 4 wickets over Quetta Gladiators. They have performed better than Quetta in all facets of the game to chase this tricky target down with relative ease. Some work to do now for the Gladiators going forward.

Chasing a gettable 155 for the win, Peshawar got off to a flier thanks to Mohammad Haris who scored a quickfire 18 off 9 balls. Babar Azam hung around for his 19. There were a few hiccups in the chase in the middle overs. Rovman Powell scored a crucial 36 off 23 balls. Jimmy Neesham scored a crucial cameo of 37 off 23 balls. Dasun Shanaka's 16* and Wahab Riaz's 12* took the side home in the end in 18.3 overs to win with 9 balls to spare.

Mohammad Hasnain was the pick of the bowlers for Quetta Gladiators with exceptional figures of 3/13 in 4 overs. He was ably supported by Naseem Shah who bowled miserly for his 1/19 in 4 overs. A wicket for Mohammad Nawaz and Qais Ahmad but both of them went the distance.

Earlier in the game, Quetta Gladiators never got going after being put into bat first. They scored 28 runs in the powerplay for the loss of one wicket. Both Guptill and Roy struggled for their runs. Roy scored 14 off 23 balls while Guptill struggled with 12 off 16 balls. But the innings was rescued by the pair of Sarfaraz Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed. The skipper Sarfaraz scored 39 off 30 balls. Iftikhar remained unbeaten with his 50* off 34 balls while Odean Smith remained unbeaten with a quick cameo of 25* off 12 balls. They scored 112 runs off the last 10 overs to get to 154/4 but they were still under par on that surface.

Usman Qadir was the pick of the bowlers for Peshawar Zalmi with figures of 2/26 in 4 overs. A wicket to his name for James Neesham and Arshad Iqbal. The bowlers were disciplined throughout but gave away too many runs at the death overs. But they got the win in the end.

A win by 4 wickets with 9 balls to spare for Peshawar Zalmi over Quetta Gladiators. Stick around for the presentation ceremony.
