9:26 PM IST | Probuddha: So India wins another bilateral series. Convincing performance by the team, and they have whitewashed the Kiwis. Now, we will move ahead to the T20I series. Stay tuned with us as we will bring you to live coverage of the series. But for now, you can switch tabs and follow the live coverage from all the cricketing action across the world. This is Probuddha Bhattacharjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arijit Kundu and scorer/analyst Manish Bihsnoi. Good Night!!!!!
Rohit Sharma (Captain, India): "I think the last 6 games that we played, we did well in all three departments and that has done the job for us. We were consistent throughout the game. Siraj and Shami were on the bench so we brought in the rest of the guys and they did the job successfully. We bowled pretty well according to these ground dimensions. Conway and Nicholls were playing so well but Shardul provided us with much-needed breakthroughs at that stage and turned the game.

I was batting well and it was just a matter of time to get the milestone. Wrist spinners are an important part of any eleven and today they did well for us. We could have taken that one easily but the boys played with intensity and ended up on the winning side. We don't talk too much about the standings and Australia is a quality team and they will come hard as we are ready for it."
Shubman Gill (Player of the Series): "It feels nice to get rewarded, and it is nice to perform well for the team. I don't think I have changed my approach much. I believe in converting the starts and am looking to do the same. It is not about your personal score; it is about the situation. I play according to the situation and plan accordingly. Thank You very much!!!!"
Shardul Thakur (Player of the match): "I think everyone is here to play cricket and the opponent comes after you but you need to be in the game and I was trying to execute the plans as discussed. I don't think too much and I try to be ready for every situation.  Everyone enjoys the batting and in modern-day cricket, each and everyone enjoys doing so."
Tom Latham (Captain, New Zealand): "I think obviously the start of it was wrong for us. It was great on our part to restrict them to 385 runs after the brilliant start that they got. It was great to play in the series. Fingers crossed, but the world cup is a long away, and we will be taking one match at a time. It will be the T20I series next and we would look to put in a good show in the series."
The post-match presentations will be up soon and stay tuned...
8:58 PM IST| Probuddha: With that wicket, India wins the match and the series. That was a dominating performance by India as they won the match by 90 runs.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and decided to bowl first. India was off to a flying start as Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill plundered the Kiwi bowlers from the beginning of the match. Both Rohit Sharma (101 off 85) and Shubman Gill (112 off 78) went past their hundreds and laid a strong foundation for India. After the opening partnership of 212 runs was broken, India began to lose the way a bit. But it was a cameo by Hardik Pandya (54 off 38) in the lower middle order that helped India reach a mammoth total of 385 runs.

In the chase, New Zealand lost Fin Allen in the first over. But Devon Conway continued to bat at one end and got Nicholls and Mitchell with him. Though Conway was looking in supreme touch, wickets kept falling at the other end. Conway (138 off 100) was the sixth wicket to fall, and after that, New Zealand were put out of the contest. In the end, New Zealand managed to reach 295 runs in 41.2 overs, losing the match by 90 runs.

With that win, India makes it to rank one in the ICC ODI rankings.
41.2 Y Chahal to M Santner
W WICKET!!!! Full ball on the middle stump. Santner lofts the ball over mid wicket and was looking to clear the fence. But the timing was not proper and he holds out to Virat Kohli in the deep. That ends the innings an India completes another white wash. This time it is the Kiwis who face the wrath of the 'Mighty' Indians.
41.1 Y Chahal to M Santner
0 Full ball angled across the batter. Santner leaves the ball and it turns in from the tram line at the last moment.
