So, that's it from this game and the league stage of the tournament. The playoffs are set with Qualifier 1 will feature Gulf Giants against the Desert Vipers. Eliminator will have MI Emirates against the Dubai Capitals. The Playoffs kick off from Wednesday onwards. Do join us then and for all other fixtures from across the world, stick around to our network.

For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Srivathsa alongside scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
David Wiese (Player of the Match): "I think it's one of those where I kept things simple. One or two misbehaved and got me the wickets. I think you need to keep it simple and not get too excited here Keep the basics and stick to it. I have been consistent and the momentum is a good one to take us forward and take it to the playoffs for us."
David Wiese is the Player of the Match.
James Vince (Gulf Giants Captain): "Yes absolutely. We play every game to win and we reacted well. The bowlers did their job and then the batters did the formality. Brain fade there, but good to get the win. Yes, it gives us options. A quick turnaround. Great to see them doing well and creating headaches for us. Yes, let's see what is ahead of us. Looking forward to the playoffs."
Moeen Ali (Sharjah Warriors Captain): "We wanted to go out and be positive but the wicket didn't allow that. We kept losing wickets and made silly mistakes. Our batters haven't had much time throughout the tournament except for Tom Kohler-Cadmore. It's been a fantastic experience. We want to go better next year and are determined to do well."

Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
10:55 PM IST: So, the Gulf Giants win this game by 7 wickets with 21 balls to spare to top the points table. This means that the Sharjah Warriors are eliminated from the tournament while the Dubai Capitals make the playoffs. Coming to this game, the Giants outplayed the Warriors in all facets of the game tonight.

Chasing a paltry 108 for the win, the openers Tom Banton and James Vince put on 32 for the first wicket to start the chase on the right note. Banton was dismissed for 11. Skipper James Vince scored 27 while Colin de Grandhomme scored 35 off 28 balls. Aayan Afzal Khan was unbeaten on 14* while Gerhard Erasmus was unbeaten on 10* as the victory target was achieved in 16.3 overs. 11 extras were given by the fielding side.

The Warriors bowlers had a low total to defend and so had to try something extra. A couple of wickets for Junaid Siddique in his 4 overs for 27 runs. Marcus Stoinis bowled 4 overs and gave away 16 runs and picked up a wicket. The rest of the bowlers were wicketless as they had too less total to defend.

Earlier in the game, Sharjah Warriors inserted to bat first but never really got going. Tom Kohler-Cadmore was good for his 33 off 19 balls. Marcus Stoinis got to 18. Mohammad Nabi scored a useful 21. Noor got 10 as they crawled their way to 107 all out in 18.3 overs. The rest of the batters did not enter double figures. 2 extras were given by the fielding side.

David Wiese was the pick of the bowlers for the Gulf Giants as he ended up with magical figures of 5/20 in 4 overs. A couple of wickets for Carlos Brathwaite. A wicket apiece for Sanchit Sharma and Tom Helm. All the bowlers kept it tight and got run-outs in as well. A great bowling display by the Giants.

So, a win by 7 wickets for the Gulf Giants to finish on top of the points table. Stick around for the post-match presentation that comes your way soon.
