That’s a wrap from our side as well. Thank you for joining us from all around the globe. This is Prince Suman signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and Scorer / Analyst Chandan Kumar Singh. Do join us for the other fixtures across the globe. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.
Wanindu Hasaranga (Player of the match): "Really pleased with the victory, and my goofy is turning out beautifully. The body appears healthy. I had a nap after the last game, and I'm good now. I'm enjoying bowling on this pitch because everyone witnessed how it behaved."
Wanindu Hasaranga is the player of the match!
Colin Munro (Desert Vipers captain): "Happier than the previous evening. We did pretty well to scrape to that number despite the difficult surface. And our bowlers performed admirably, stayed to the challenging lengths, and didn't deviate from our strategies. Although the pitch didn't play at all as it did the night before, it did appear similar. We were able to form a relationship thanks to Billings and Howell, which helped us score well. The tournament will require a strong team, and we have a good bench. The support team deserves praise for keeping the boys prepared. Each person is stepping up when they are ready. Right now, everything is going nicely for us."
Joe Denly (Sharjah Warriors Captain): "Although it was challenging, we expect to encounter difficulties like that in this location. There is still a game to play. Must successfully adapt to it. Maybe (if 130 or so was par) (whether 130 or so was par). We had a strong start with the ball, but once they reached a respectable total, we lost our momentum and struggled in the batting order. Simply couldn't establish the partnerships. We have demonstrated a lot of grit, and we still have a chance to advance."
Time for the post-match presentation!
11:23 PM IST| Prince: A brilliant display of bowling by Desert Vipers as they thumped the Sharjah Warrior by 22 runs.

Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, Desert Vipers posted a  formidable score of 148 runs for loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs against the strong bowling attack of Sharjah Warrior. Benny Howell was the top contributor for Desert Vipers, as he scored 34* runs off 23 balls with the help of 4 boundaries, while Rohan Mustafa scored 31 runs in 33 balls. On the flip side, Muhhamad Jawadullah and Noor Ahmad chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Mohammad Nabi extracted a solitary wicket for each.

In pursuit of the  Deserts Vipers’  formidable score of 148 runs total, Sharjah Warrior got off to a slow start as they scored 39 runs for loss of 2 wickets in the powerplay. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Tom Kohler-Cadmore opened for Sharjah Warrior. They lost 2 wickets in quick succession, after that Marcus Stoinis and Adam Hose tried to build some partnerships but their progress was halted as Marcus Stoinis departed with 17 runs off 26 balls. Wanindu Hasaranga came and took some wickets in quick succession and gave pressure on the opposition. Then Paul Walter hits some mighty boundaries in the middle but not helped to his team to finish the line of victory. Rahmanullah Gurbaz(1 run off 4 balls), Joe Denly(1 run off 5 balls), and  Mohammad Nabi(1 run off 3 balls) failed to impress with the bat. Paul Walter the top run-scorer for his team, scored 27 runs off 23 runs, while Noor Ahmad scored 23 runs off 19 balls. On the flip side, Wanindu Hasaranga and Luke Wood were the picks of the bowler they scalped 3 wickets each, while Gus Atkinson extracted a solitary wicket.

A Comprehensive win for Deserts Vipers and they will look to carry the momentum in the upcoming matches. On the other side, Sharjah Warrior needs to regroup and come back stronger in the upcoming matches.

Stick around for the post-match presentations…….
