That's it from the 22nd match of the ILT20. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saipavan and scorer Chandan Kumar Singh. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world.
Adam Zampa: "We probably had the better side of the toss to be honest. There was some tackiness in the wicket in the first innings and the dew negated that in the second innings. The sliders slid on quite well so I got my wickets with that delivery. Its about summing up the conditions and executing well. Its really hard in franchise competitions when you don't play from the start and come midway. I'm trying to lend a hand where I can to Rovman. We are still alive in the competition which is great. We have improved from the last game to this game and the next couple of games are important."
Adam Zampa is the player of the match.
Rovman Powell (Dubai Capitals): "I enjoyed the way the bowlers bowled. We were having issues in the beginning of the tournament but we are now relying on our bowlers. Akif Raja was bowling well in the nets and we have identified him as the wicket taker, he might go for some runs but he gets us wickets. Adam Zampa is brilliant taking wickets in the middle overs, batters usually get away not losing their wickets in the middle overs but he is in a really good nick. It is important to show character and the boys did it. We will spend some time together as a team and will try to continue with the same momentum."
Sunil Narine (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Captain): "Its a case of probably confidence. We've been in good positions in the last 4 games but we could do better in the last 8 overs to give bowlers something to bowl at. Little things make difference in a big tournament. Joe Clarke was in good nick from the first game. We got a good start and we didn't capitalise on it yet again. We lost wickets in clusters. We'll just try to enjoy the next games and make the most of it. Just trying to keep myself as late as possible with the fast bowlers getting some wickets. Tried to bowl Akeal in there as well who did well."
10:57 PM IST: A convincing victory from the Dubai Capitals have put them at par with the Sharjah Warriors as both the teams now have 7 points each in the ladder. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders' dismal run of form continue as they go down again, this time by a margin of 7 wickets.

Quick recap to the game as Dubai Capitals won the toss and decided to bowl first restricting the Knight Riders to 149/9 thanks to an electric bowling display from the spinners Adam Zampa, Sikandar Raza and couple of tidy spells from Raja Akif and Hazrat Luqman who was expensive but picked up a couple of wickets.

Joe Clarke got the Knight Riders to a good start hitting 52 off 27 deliveries opening the batting to get the Knight Riders a solid start in the powerplay despite losing a couple of early wickets. The wickets kept tumbling with the spinners getting in the act right after the powerplay. Sunil Narine played a good cameo in the death overs scoring 23 off 13 deliveries.

The chase began at a brighter note for the Capitals high on confidence after their stellar bowling performance. Openers George Munsey (57) and Niroshan Dickwella (37) provided them with a good start adding 59 runs for the first wicket.

Munsey then added 62 with Dasun Shanaka but the stand was broken by an excellent leg stump yorker from Lahiru Kumara who was expensive. Akeal Hosein was the only bowler who bowled tidily and chipped in with Dickwella's wicket. Skipper Rovman Powell finished the game off scoring an unbeaten 21 off 14 balls to get the Capitals to victory in the 18th over.
