That’s a wrap from our side as well. It was a great game of cricket and I hope you enjoyed our live coverage. We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Tugral Azmi and Scorer/Analyst Paras Yadav, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Please join us for the other fixtures across the world. Until then, Ta-Ta, Bye-Bye.✌✌
Faf du Plessis(Joburg Super Kings Captain): "Love a tight one. Either we're losing badly, or the score is close. Today was much more appealing. 100 % the pitch's nature (intent at the start). 170 seemed standard to me. We are aware that the wicket performs best in the twilight. One was required only to help the boys open their chests. Great audience; it made me think of international competitions. Thank you all it was fantastic."
Leus du Plooy (Player of the Match): "Was about making a fast assessment of the situation. We got off to a wonderful start with Faf and Reeza. made our task simpler. I simply try to stay true to my approach, which is to enter the crease with good intentions. They bowled beautifully in the beginning, but fortunately, we gained momentum afterward. We are believed to be 10 runs short. Getting ready for tomorrow."
Wayne Parnell( Pretoria Capitals Captain): "James Neesham began the exchange with all of his might. Just careless mistakes, really. Even now, I think they were 15 runs short. But we made a few stupid mistakes. Early pitches were sluggish, but under lights, they improved. Most likely, we played solid cricket for the majority of the game. made mistakes at critical junctures."
12:51 AM IST | Deepak: What an enthralling contest it has been for cricket enthusiasts. Joburg Super Kings thumped Pretoria Capitals by 6 runs.🙌🙌 This is the first loss for the Pretoria Capitals.

Earlier, after being invited to bat first, the Joburg Super Kings posted 168 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. An electrifying inning of 75* off 40 from Leus du Plooy has helped the Kings post a 168-run total. On the other hand, Eathan Bosch was the pick of the bowlers for the Capitals, as he extracted 3 wickets and gave away just 12 runs in 3 overs.

In pursuit of the Kings’ 168-run the Pretoria Capitals got off to a flying start as both their openers, Philip Salt and Will Jacks came out all guns blazing and started scoring briskly, but their progress was halted by Alzarri Joseph, who rattled the off stump of Will Jacks who departed for 16 runs off 13 balls. Rilee Rossouw came at number three but he departed without opening his account in the very next ball.

The Pretoria Capitals faced a mini-collapse in the middle and were struggling at 93/5 in the 12th over. Philip Salt (29 off 15), Theunis de Bruyn (18 off 19), and Shane Dadswell (22 off 13)—all the big guns were back in the hut. James Neesham came out firing and started scoring quickly, destroying Phangiso with three back-to-back sixes, but Phangiso cleaned him up in the fourth ball. James Neesham departed after 24 runs off 16 balls.

Eathan Bosch and Wayne Parnell took responsibility to score runs at the cue end of the inning, but Eathan Bosch departed for 15 runs off 17 balls after forging a partnership of 30 runs for the seventh wicket. Wayne Parnell remained unbeaten on 19 runs off 17 balls but failed to seal the game for his side as they fell 6 runs short of the target.

On the other hand, Aaron Phangiso was the pick of the bowlers for the Kings, as he scalped 4 wickets and gave away 32 runs in 4 overs. Alzarri Joseph and Romario Shepherd chipped in with a couple of wickets each and Gerald Coetzee contributed one wicket.

Stay tuned for the presentations...

19.6 R Shepherd to A Nortje
W WICKET! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Pretoria Capitals have bundled out on 162. Length delivery, shaping away from the right-hander. Nortje tries to punch it down the ground but only manages a toe-edge to the keeper. What a close encounter we're witnessing today. Joburg Super Kings cruised to a 6-run victory over the Pretoria Capitals.
