Well that's all for today folks! South Africa have sealed a magical victory over England and they will be looking to win the next 2 matches to avoid a trip to Zimbabwe. To find out where this story heads next, stay tuned for more action from this 3 match ODI series!

This is Anirudh signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak, and our scorer/analyst Yogesh! See you on the next one!
Temba Bavuma | South Africa Captain: "Things rapidly changed. We really recovered well after Player of the Match grabbed two quick wickets, as he did his job brilliantly. I believed it to be a fantastic wicket; we were anticipating more than 300. Rassie and David put it differently, saying that although it slowed down, we felt like we were still a few runs short of par. It was essential to continue playing. Their start was similar to ours in that the ball started off nicely, but unlike us, they had one player batting long. It was a plus for us that they hadn't seen enough of Magala. I anticipated that at least one of the bowlers would cause harm.

They all contributed to us in different ways. We're attempting to change our focus away from the outcome and toward how we want to play the game. We need the victory and the points, but it's also important how we conduct ourselves."

Sisanda Magala | Player of the Match: "I'm very happy considering the start they head, the game was heading in one direction, so to pull off that victory was really good for us. There's a bit but I understood he was trying to sus out the situation. I was like the first change but it is what it is, the situation needed that. My game plan was simple to bowl at length and keep it straight. The bouncer was two paced so we tried to use as many as we can. It's time for rest now."
Sisanda Magala is the player of the match!
Jos Buttler | England Captain: "Disappointed. Although we played superb cricket for the majority of the game, the way we ended was disappointing. Given that the wicket was favorable for batting, I was pleased with how we contained them. We ought to proceed. Over the years, having that compassion and dedication has helped us a lot. South Africa deserves praise for their bowling. When the ball is new, it is easiest to bat with; as the ball ages, it becomes more difficult. I was disappointed not to win."
It's time for the post-match presentation.
AND BREATHE! SOUTH AFRICA HAVE DEFEATED ENGLAND BY 27 RUNS! WHAT A PERFORMANCE BY THE PROTEAS! They are right back in the World Cup race by defeating the defending champions! This defeat will leave a sour taste in the mouth for the English players!

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first, the decision looked fruitful in the early stages as Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma combined to put up a 61 run opening stand but neither of the openers could convert their starts into big scores. However, that was not the case for Rassie Van Der Dussen.

The classy batter went onto notch a fantastic 111 runs off 117 balls to give his team the much needed boost and with the help of a dashing southpaw in David Miller (53 runs off 56 balls) The Proteas managed to put up a total of 298/7 from their 50 overs. Sam Curran was the pick of the bowlers for England as he ended up with the figures of 3/35 from his 9 overs. A target of 299 was seen as a par score here, especially with the firepower England possessed.

Come the chase, the English openers came out in strong fashion as Roy and Malan combined to register a 146 run-stand inside the first 20 overs! With Malan going onto score a half-century and Jason Roy bringing up 4000 ODI Runs and a quickfire knock of 113 runs off 91 balls, the Proteas looked down and out of the game.

But the fall of the first wicket, opened up the gates to 9 more as England could only manage to score another 125 runs before they were bundled out for a total 271 runs, 27 runs short of their target! Anrich Nortje was the wrecker in chief as he picked up 4/62 to spell trouble for England, while Sisanda Magala picked up 3/46 and KG Rabada pitched in with a couple of wickets before Shamsi took his match winning wicket to seal the victory for the home team!

England will be disappointed that they let this chase slip away and failed to register a new record for the highest total chased successfully at this ground. It's back to the drawing board for them and for South Africa it's time build on this momentum and win the next two games to ensure they don't have to play the qualifying tournament for the World Cup!
Deepak: Here we go, as I speak, England missed an opportunity to break the record at this venue and the highest total chased down at this venue will remain 274! A historical victory for South Africa! They deserve this victory the way they bowled they really deserve this victory!👏👏
44.2 T Shamsi to O Stone
W WICKET! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! THAT'S IT! SOUTH AFRICA HAVE SEALED AN ASTONISHING VICTORY AT HOME! Length delivery, on the stumps, Stone gets a leading edge back to Shamsi who completes the catch on the second attempt and SEALS THE VICTORY!
44.1 T Shamsi to O Stone
0 Shamsi returns to face Stone, over the wicket, full length delivery, on the off stump, Stone defends.
Deepak: The highest total chased at this venue is 274 runs and it would be too early to say but I think England have missed an opportunity to break that record today.
