So that's all from our coverage of the final ODI of the 3 match ODI series between England Women and Sri Lanka Women. England Women outplayed their opponent to clinch the series by 2-0 margin with one ODI getting washed out.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, taking your leave on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Good night, stay safe and stay with us for more live coverage of games all around the world.
Nat Sciver-Brunt (Player of the Match & England Women Captain): "Really happy to bat the way I did, I guess continue on what I was doing against Australia as well. I guess when we play so much cricket through the summer, we probably don't need to train too many things. Obviously, be right in the mind, be right in the body, and hopefully continue that mindset that I had. So, yeah, that's what I was trying to do. Tried to rest a little bit through the T-20 series and then made sure I was switched on when it did come to the ODI.

[Speaking about her comeback with the ball as she is not bowling due to a knee niggle] The plan is to be back for the Indian Series in December. The decision not to bowl post Ashes, I guess it was more to give the body a bit of a rest. I went through training without having to rush around and do everything all the time, so it was quite nice, actually. But now I'm looking forward to picking up the ball again. I guess when you're playing games, you want to influence or I want to influence as much as I can in every part of the game. So, yeah, I guess that's the best part of being an all-rounder. And yeah, fielding for 50 overs and not really being able to influence with the ball was a little bit frustrating, but, yeah, I was happy to have the body break for that.

It's brilliant. To come in and make such an impact in their first few games was really special to see Filer. We knew what she could do from the test match, but obviously put it into ODI cricket and there's a bit more pressure on the field and making sure the ball comes out a bit more consistently, but her pace was the most exciting thing about it, I guess.  So, yeah, we want to harness that and hopefully give her a bit of a rest now and hopefully come December, be ready to go again."
England team are delighted and they are celebrating with the trophy in the middle. What a way to finish the series!
Player of the summer and player of the Match- Nat Sciver-Brunt
Chamari Athapaththu(Sri Lanka Women Captain)- "Tough conditions and tough day for us. It happens in cricket, sometime you win and sometime you lose. But we learnt a lot by playing against a top ranked side.

I think we should improve our batting. Patience is very important in this format and we have improve shot selection too. Because in this condition, you can't go fearless all the time.

We have few youngsters and I think our set up is good and I think we will do better in future. Obviously we have some areas to improve and once that is done, we can really do better in future.

I love the pressure, I handle the pressure well. I try to play fearless and enjoy my stay in the middle."
Lauren Filer (Player of the series): "Yeah, it's been a bit of a whirlwind, so it's great to finish it off with a win as well, but yeah, just grateful for every moment. Yeah, I just think obviously, using the hardness of the new ball and trying to bowl, attacking lines, hit the stumps, probably getting driving as well, which probably wasn't in my element last year, so it's kind of something in the armory that I'm trying to work on.

[Speaking about Mahika Gaur]
Yeah, she's a great bowler and obviously offers left arm as well.
She's got a lot of skill with the swing that she bowls, so, yeah, it's always nice to have someone at the other end who could probably keep the runs down if I'm ticking over a bit too much.

[Speaking about skills she would try to develop in her] Yeah, I think variations, I think obviously the women's game is developing quite a lot. I think just trying to bowl quickly is probably not going to be enough soon. So I think, yeah, just trying to develop sort of slower variations and yeah, trying to potentially put on pace and yeah, just hopefully improve."

12:19 AM IST, 19:49 Local Time: Time for the post-match presentation.
00:09 IST and 19:39 Local Time | England Women team displayed a clinical performance to make sure they get a victory by a huge margin of 161 runs over Sri Lanka Women team. Chasing the monumentous 274 run target, Sri Lanka Women got bundled out at a paltry 112.

Chasing the huge target, Sri Lanka Women never looked in a good position right from the start. Chamari Athapaththu who was the dependable person for them failed to time the ball and rotate the strike equally throughout the powerplay. Wicket keeper Anushka Sanjeewani hit a couple of boundaries to score 13 runs before Lauren Filer bowled her. Hashitha Madavi got out for just 1 and Imesha Dulani got out on 5 to make their team struggling at 24 for 3.

Things improved when Hasini Perera came to bat. Meanwhile, Chamari Athapaththu fell to Charlie Dean when she was on 12. The Hasini had a partnership of 35 runs with Hansima Karunaratne. Charlie Dean came to bowl the 15th over and scalped three wickets at alternative deliveries to remove Hansima Karunaratne, Hasini Perera and Kavisha Dilhari(1). After that she removed Udeshika Prabodhani when she was on 2 to complete her fifer.

In the end, Achini Kulasuriya and Inoka Ranaweera batted to extend their innings only. They batted for 34 balls to register 21 runs partnership between them for the last wicket. And that was the highest partnership of the Lankan innings in terms of balls! Lauren Filer bowled Kulasuriya to confirm the English team's victory.

Charlie Dean was the star of the English bowling with her 5 wickets for just 31 runs. Lauren Filer took 3 wickets too with Mahika Gaur and Sarah Glenn sharing the rest of the 2 wickets between them.

Earlier coming to bat, England registered a mammoth 273 in their 31 overs, thanks to a blistering century from Nat Sciver-Brunt who scored the fastest ever ODI century by any English woman in just 66 balls. Her 120 was well accompanied by a spectacular 95 by Maia Bouchier. Debutant Bess Heath played a good cameo of 21 runs off just 14 balls.

In the end, England Women outplayed their opponent to clinch the series by 2-0 margin.

W Bowled her!!! That is the game!! The change in angle does the trick for Filer. A comprehensive victory for the hosts and they outclassed Sri Lanka in all departments to win the match by a massive margin of 161 runs. Charlie Dean leads the troops off the ground after taking her maiden 5-fer.

Coming to the dismissal now, Filer switches to around the wicket and bowls a full-length delivery straight on the middle stump line. Kulasuriya clears her front leg and swings at it but misses and the ball goes on to rattle the stumps. After losing the 3-match T-20I series England Women bounced back and made a bold statement by winning the 3-match ODI series by 2-0, with one game being washed out due to rain.
