Pakistan-W win the game by 5 wickets, these two teams will fight it out on thursday in the all-important semi-finals. That's it from us today, I am Ovaise Shariff signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ayan and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Hope you enjoyed the coverage, Until next time!! It's Goodbye!!
Omaima Sohail (Player of the Match): "I didn't expect this. It was a wonderful day to bowl and I backed my strengths and was happy to contribute to the team's win.  My plan was simply to contain the batters and glad I got the rewards. Yes, looking forward to a great performance in the semi-finals as well."
Bismah Maroof (Pakistan-W): "Of course, we are all set for the semi-finals now, we took wickets in the middle overs and pegged them back, I think they were quite positive from the start, put our bowlers under pressure. Once we picked up a wicket, things fell into place!!  Sohail bowled extremely well and in the batting department Dar and Aliya's partnership was very crucial"
Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain): "Yes, we are disappointed. I was happy to get back into form. But the team's batting was not good. We got off to a good start and then lost our way. We have to look at this area for the semis. I think we have to bat with more application in the semis. The bowlers tried their best. It was a low score to defend and I felt we need more runs for the semis clash. Hope we do well when it matters."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
Pakistan has finished it off in style with back-to-back sixers!! The women in green have won the match by 5 wickets, Sri Lanka Women were in the game but towards the end Pakistan-W held their nerves and got over the line.

Earlier in the day, Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first, Chamari Athapaththu took her team to a fantastic start, she smashed the bowlers all around the park and made full use of the powerplay. She lost her partner Madavi early on and was joined by Perera, together they took Sri Lanka-W past the 50-run mark, Athapaththu was dismissed in the 7th over by Tuba Hassan. At this point the score was 58/2 in 7 overs. After the captain's departure, it was a downhill slide for them.

Sri Lanka kept losing wickets at regular intervals and just couldn't get going, they played some ugly shots and the running between the wickets was extremely poor!! Omaima Sohail took 5 wickets and didn't allow any of the batters to settle. Eventually, Sri Lanka-W ended with 112, thanks to the last wicket stand between Oshadi Ranasinghe and Achini Kulasuriya.

Pakistan-W started off the chase brilliantly, both the openers were looking in great touch!! Muneeba Ali and Sidra Ameen had an opening stand of 28 in 4 overs, Ameen was dismissed by Ranasinghe on 13 of 13, followed by her opening partner in the very next over. At this point, Pakistan-W were 2 down with 30 runs on the board after 5.1 overs. Sohail could only contribute with 7 of 9 as she was trapped in front of the wickets by Dilhari.

Captain Bismah Maroof showed some resistance, but she too was sent back to the dressing room by Ranaweera on 13 of 16 balls. Pakistan were in a spot of bother with 4 down and 51 runs on the board when Nida Dar and Aliya Riaz stitched a brilliant partnership and marched towards the target. Things got a little tricked after Aliya's dismissal, but Ayesha Naseem held her nerve and deposited 2 back to back sixers and took Pakistan over the line in style. Nida Dar finished unbeaten on 26.

Kavisha Dilhari was the pick of the bowlers for Sri Lanka-W, she picked up 2 for 16 in hr 3 overs. Ranasinghe, Kulasuriya and Ranaweera picked up a wicket each!

These two teams will fight it out in the semis on Thursday!! It will be an exciting contest..
