This is it from the live coverage of this game with Sri Lanka Women winning it by 3 runs ( D/L Method ). That’s it for today from myself Nikhil Kalla alongside my co-commentator Ayan Chatterjee with our scorer/analyst Yogesh. See you soon again with more games to follow till then stay safe.

Inoka Ranaweera (Player of the Match): "Thank You! We knew we had to be at our game and the bowlers were great. All of them are good so I am happy. Yes, I think at the moment we know how to handle the tough situations and we enjoyed ourselves."
Chamari Athapaththu ( Sri Lanka Women Captain ): "Yeah, Obviously the rain helped us a lot. I have really experienced bowlers and I have full faith in them and they delivered. Harshitha and Nilakshi are batting really well at the moment and they showed their skills yet again today. Inoka is one of the best bowlers in the women's circuit and she delivered big time today."
Nigar Sultana (Bangladesh Women Captain): "Yes, I guess we started well under early morning conditions and we had them under trouble when the rain came. I felt we batted badly and played too many rash shots and that didn't help us. I am disappointed, to be honest. The situation is tough and now we have one game to win and hope we win that contest."
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.

NIKHIL: So, we are done here with Sri Lanka Women winning the game by 3 runs ( D/L Method ).

Sri Lanka Women started off in a sluggish manner as they managed to score 23 for the loss of 1 wicket in the powerplay. Nilakshi De Silva and Hasini Perera batted well together for the 4th wicket partnership as they added 29 runs together. It was for splendid innings by Nilakshi that the Lankan Women managed to score 83 runs in 18.1 overs before the rain entered the frame.

For Bangladesh Women, Rumana was outstanding as he scalped a couple. While Shanjida, Khatun, and Alam picked up a wicket too.

In reply to the target of 41 runs in 7 overs, Bangladesh Women started off on a decent note as they managed to score 10 for 1 in the powerplay which was of 2 overs. It was for Nigar Sultana who was the only one that managed to score in the double figures as she got out on 12. No Bangladesh Women stood up and took the responsibility for a fight back after a dull start.

For Sri Lanka Women, Inoka Ranaweera turned the tables in the 6th over as she managed to scalp 4 wickets in total. Oshadi took a wicket too.
