That’s a wrap from our side as well. Auckland's brilliant all-round performance helps them defeat Canterbury by 4 wickets.  We appreciate your participation from all across the world. On behalf of my co-commentator Tugral Azmi and Scorer/Analyst Raju Khariya, I, Deepak Prakash, am signing off. Loads of cricketing action is going on at our network so, don't go anywhere just switch the tabs and join your favorite game to enjoy our live ball-by-ball updates.
William O Donnell ( Skipper Auckland): "They completely won the first six over but T-20 is a fun game we hang around and built a good partnership which helped us to win this game. The guys played really well, especially in the last three overs."
Cole McConchie (Skipper Canterbury): "Yeah, credit to Auckland as they played better cricket today. Auckland's spin bowling is bold. Proud of the effort but probably we fell short a little bit today. We would look to improve our weak areas in the next game."
Ben Horne (Players of the Match): "When I came to bat, our side was completely on the back foot. But I got the benefit that the boundary of this ground is small. So I talked with Solia, let's play this game by rotating the strike. And take it till the last, if there is hope, we will turn the game on the last movement and my luck also worked today."

1:13 PM IST | Deepak: From 77/5 in the 14th over to winning the game by 4 wickets🎯 with 3 balls to spare. An exceptional display of batting by the Auckland, all credit goes to Ben Horne. Auckland thumped Canterbury by 4 wickets.

Earlier, Canterbury put up a strong batting performance, scoring 147 runs in 20 overs despite losing nine wickets. Chad Bowes 💪led the charge with an impressive 51 runs off 29 balls. Auckland's Ben Lister 👏proved a formidable opponent, taking 3 wickets and only conceding 31 runs in 4 overs.

Auckland's chase got off to a rocky start, with Max O'Dowd and Mark Chapman falling in quick succession. Cole Briggs and George Worker tried to steady the ship, but Worker's dismissal in the 6th over put a halt to their progress.

Auckland's batting lineup faced some early setbacks, but Sean Solia and Ben Horne stepped up to the challenge. The pair worked tirelessly to rebuild the innings, scoring at a rapid pace. Ben Horne even reached his second domestic fifty on the occasion. Their 65-run partnership for the 6th wicket proved to be the turning point in the match, with Sean Solia contributing a valuable 33 runs off 25 balls before departing. In the end, it was Ben Horne who sealed the victory for his team, finishing the match undefeated on 54 runs off 24 balls. Auckland's determined effort to overcome adversity paid off in this thrilling match.

on the other hand, Shipley and McKenzie shared a couple of wickets each, and Astle and ORourke shared one wicket each for Canterbury.

Stay tuned for the presentations....
