This is it from the live coverage of this game with Northern winning it by 1 run. That’s it for today from myself Nikhil Kalla alongside my co-commentator Akshay Bhide with our scorer/analyst Ashok. See you soon again with more games to follow till then stay safe.

Umar Amin | Northern Skipper: "Normally in such games, the start of the innings matters a lot and we knew it would be difficult for them to chase this down if we took wickets on a regular basis. I will give all the credit to our bowlers as they did really well to restrict Sindh short of the total on a batting paradise as such. The decision to promote Huraira has clicked for us and It feels really proud as a skipper when such a decision pays off."
Saud Shakeel | Sindh Skipper: "The way they started, it looked like they would get 200 but we did well to restrict them below that. We backed our strength which is our batting. So backed the decision to bowl first. One bad decision resulted in us losing the game otherwise we had won the game."

Mohammad Huraira | Player of the match: "The pitch was really good, Whenever I practice I look to rotate the strike and it all came well today. First of all, I would like to thank management to boost confidence in me and allowing me to play my natural game. If we rotate the good ball to single and double the bowler gets frustrated and throws a poor delivery and that has been my Mantra here."
Mohammad Huraira is named the Player of the Match for his outstanding knock of 86.

NIKHIL: So, we are done here with Northern winning the game by 1 run. High octane drama right at the end and it was a direct hit by Amin from the deep that decided the fate of this game in favor of Northern.

Northern started off in a scintillating manner as both the openers took over the bowlers straight away. Northern managed to score 57 for no loss in the powerplay. Nazir and Huraira batted well together for the First wicket partnership as they added 132 runs together. At one point 200 looked like a walk in the park but the bowlers of Sindh pulled it back nicely for them. Huraira was the top scorer as he smashed 86 runs in just 52 deliveries.

For Sindh, Anwar, Ahmed, Mahmood, and Ayub took a wicket each.

In reply to the target set by Northern, Sindh started off in an aggressive manner as well as they scored 56 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Ayub and Sharjeel smashed the bowlers all around the park scoring a quick-fire partnership of 19 runs. Sharjeel and Ayub departed in the powerplay itself scoring 18 and 16 respectively. It was then up to Omair and Saud Shakeel who built up a good partnership of 60 runs that saw them get closer to the total set by Northern. The target proved a bit too much for Sindh as they lost too many wickets in the process and the wicket of Ali in the last over proved to be crucial. Saud Shakeel was the top scorer for them as he scored 70 runs.

After 240 deliveries and 379 runs, it was the throw from Amin on the last delivery of this game that decided the game in favor of Northern as they defeated Sindh by 1 run.

For Northern, Shinwari, and Mubasir took a couple of wickets each while Tanvir and Zaman Khan took a wicket each.

WOW... A check for out as the duo has run for a couple. A direct hit from the deep, F Ali losing his bat in the process to dive, The drama is at its peak. IT IS OUT. Northern has won this by the finest of margin.
19.6 U Shinwari to F Ali
1W A direct hit and Ali might be run out here. WOWWW!!!! What a dramatic end to this game. The decision is sent upstairs. What have we just witnessed? Shinwari bowls it short on the stumps, Ali pulls it wide of long on and calls for two straightaway. Ali while turning back for the second lost his bat. Umar Amin in the deep moves to his left, stops the ball and fires in a throw at the striker's end. The keeper shows a great presence of mind as he leaves the ball and it hits the stumps. Ali dives full length to get in the crease but is well short. With this, Northern beat Sindh by the barest of margins.
After 3 hours and 239 deliveries, it has all come down to this final delivery. 3 runs needed off the last delivery. How important will the six of the last ball of the northern innings turn out to be for them. Are we in for a super-over...
19.5 U Shinwari to F Ali
2 Shinwari bowls it right in the slot around off, Ali hits it aerially in the off-side and just manages to clear the covers fielder who was running back from inside the circle. A couple of runs completed by Ali and he is back on strike for the final delivery.
19.4 U Shinwari to D Aziz
1 A well-disguised slower delivery from Shinwari. Bowls an off-cutter on the stumps, Aziz skies it straight back over the bowler's head and falls short of the long on fielder. Single taken.
Wow, we couldn't script a better finish to this game. The wicket falls just when we thought the game has shifted in favor of Sindh with 6 required from 3 deliveries.
19.3 U Shinwari to A Ali
W GONE. It's all happening here. Ali goes for the glory shot but departs in the process. Another full toss from Shinwari on the pads, Ali whips it high in the air and hits it straight down the throat of Huraira at deep square leg who takes a good catch under pressure. Ali is furious with himself as he knows it was there to be hit and he could have hit it anywhere but ends up finding the fielder in the deep.
19.3 U Shinwari to A Ali
WD Pressure on Shinwari. Looks to stay away from Ali's arc but bowls it way outside off and wide signaled by the umpire.
Massive hit by Anwar Ali as he has tonked a maximum and he is not settled for this as he asks for a NO-Ball as well. 7 needed off the last 4 here.
