So, that is it from an enthralling clash between Perth Scorchers and Melbourne Stars. Both sides have a stream with them. Scorchers with the winning streak and Stars with the losing one.

We hope you liked our coverage, until then, it's adios from commentator, Arijit Kundu alongside esteemed co-commentator, Ayan Chatterjee and scorer analyst Manish Bishnoi. Do stay tuned to all the other happenings from the our network.
Beth Mooney (Player of the Match): "A tough win there. The bowlers did an amazing job. I got an ugly 30. I don't know whether I deserve the award, but happy with the win. Yes, we won ugly showed our composure and sometimes you have got to get the job done and we did that. It's a long season. The aim is to be there at the back end and compete for the title. The aim will be to play well and be more clinical in our approach and hopefully, we can defend the title. It's too early to think about it."
With the momentum shifting either way repeatedly, it's the Scorchers who continue their winning spree, and Melbourne Stars taste their third defeat in the season on a trot.

This one had gone down the wire and the defending champions got the scare of their life in a low-scoring thriller.

Winning the toss, Perth Scorchers had opted to bat first. The pace bowlers of Scorchers ran through the top order of Stars and extracted a wicket right in the first ball of the innings.

The Stars lost a couple of wickets in the start, and Anabel Sutherland was the one who was hanging around for a while during the middle stages. At one point, the Stars were 55-7 and from there, they propelled to 110-9 after 20 overs. There were five ducks scripted in this innings.

Tess Flintoff played a blinder at the cue end of the innings, thereby propelling the scoreboard past the 100-run mark. They reached the score of 110 runs on the back of her 40 runs of 29 deliveries. Taneale Peschel, Lilly Mills, and Piepa Cleary bagged two wickets each for the Scorchers.

In reply, what could be an uncomplicated chase, Scorchers kickstarted things in the worst possible way. They lost skipper Sophie Devine in the second ball of the innings courtesy of a brilliant delivery from Kim Garth. After another wicket, Beth Mooney and Maddy Green stuck 34 runs together and the latter found herself in despair.

The pacers and spinners complimented each other well and controlled the run flow of the Scorchers. Wickets fell in regular intervals and 12 runs were needed from the last 12 balls with three wickets in hand. With singles, doubles, runout around the last two overs, somehow the Scorchers dragged past the finishing line with 2 balls to spare.

19.4 A Capsey to L Mills
2 Fuller length wide outside off, Mills lofts it inside out over extra cover as the ball plugs in the outfield and allows enough time for Mills to come back for a couple of runs to win the game for the Perth Scorchers. The Scorchers win this game by 2 wickets with 2 balls to spare and find a way for victory from the jaws of defeat.
