That's a wrap on the Group Stages of the Asia Cup 2022. Heartiest congratulations to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan for qualifying for the Super 4s of Asia Cup 2022. We go into the weekend with the repeat dose of last weekend's fixtures. It's Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan on Saturday and India vs Pakistan on Sunday. A super weekend is ahead of us in the Asia Cup 2022. Do join us for the upcoming matches across our globe across the formats on our network.

This is me Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ovaise Shariff alongside our scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay well, safe, and happy. Until next time, goodnight and CHEERS!
Mohammad Rizwan, Player of the Match: "We have to forget the format and assess the pitch!! We planned till the 10-over snot to lose any wickets!! Once the platform was set we gave it the charge and were successful in putting up a huge total. I am doing all the hard work and the all mighty has been kind towards me. If you are the main player of the team you have to stay calm and not get under pressure!! We believe that we have a better-experienced team than Hong Kong and hence ended up on the winning side!! "
Babar Azam, Pakistan Skipper: "Pretty good performance. The way we started our batting was interesting. The pitch was slow and low initially as we kept wickets in hand and then we stepped on and then Rizwan and Khusdil finished things off in style. I think the template is there and the way the bowlers finished it off was amazing. Good to see Naseem, Dahani, and Haris performing well. They have a bright future. Happy to be in the Super 4"
Nizakat Khan (Hong Kong Captain): "I think these two games there was a lot of learning for us, Credit has to be given to Pakistan, they completely outplayed us today!! We will be looking at the videos of the way we got out today and come better prepared next time! We gained a lot of experience from both the games!! We learned a lot from these two games!! "
Time for the presentation.

Mohammad Nawaz: "We wanted to get to 170 plus when we went to bat, we were delighted to get to 193!! It was a brilliant effort from Rizwan and Zaman who put up in a dominant position in the first innings, The bowlers bowled to their plans and we were able to win this match quite comfortably. Looking forward to the game against India."
What a performance from Pakistan as they have demolished Hong Kong for a mere 38 runs in 10.4 overs to win by 155 runs to qualify for Super 4. This is the biggest margin of victory for Pakistan. Babar and his men will be delighted with this performance.

Chasing a daunting target of 194 for the win, Hong Kong were blown away for 38 in 10.4 overs. The highest scorer was extras with 10 and Nizakat scored 8 runs. Nobody was up for the fight, to be honest. Pakistan had a field day with the ball with Naseem Shah picking up a couple of wickets alongside Shahnawaz Dahani picking up the other wicket. They accounted for the first three wickets. Then the spinners had fun together. Shadab Khan picked up 4 wickets for 8 runs in 2.4 overs. Mohammad Nawaz picked up 3 wickets for 5 runs in 2 overs as Hong Kong ended their tournament on an abysmal note.

Earlier in the game, it was Hong Kong skipper Nizakat Khan who won the toss and opted to field first on a pitch that was shining like a mirror. Pakistan began cautiously in the first ten overs as they went at about run-a-ball. Babar Azam went back into the hut after scoring only 9 runs. Mohammed Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman then took over with their respective half centuries.

They put on 116 for the second wicket before Fakhar went after scoring a fifty. Zaman scored 53 off 41 balls. Rizwan carried his bat with a top score of 78 off 57 balls. Khusdil Shah’s cameo of 35 off 15 balls included five sixes out of which 3 of them came in the final over. The last over went for 29 runs as they scored 193-2. 18 extras were given by Hong Kong which included 17 wides and 1 No Ball.

Both the wickets went to Ehsan Khan as he finished with 2-28 in 4 overs. Haroon Arshad was good in his 2 overs for 14 runs. The others went the distance as 78 runs came off the last five overs. 29 out of those in the final over with Khusdil hitting four sixes and 3 in a row off the final three balls. It was a night to forget for the bowlers of Hong Kong towards the end overs.

So, get set for India vs Pakistan on Super Sunday in the Super 4s. Stick around for the post-match presentation ceremony that comes your way soon.

10.4 S Khan to M Ghazanfar
W This one is a quick one here as it's a googly. Ghazanfar defends and he may have got the pad first here. The umpire gives it as the batter sends it to the TV umpire. Fair delivery.  If it's pad first, this maybe OUT, The ball hits the pad first and Ball Tracking shows Umpire's call on Impact and Hitting.
10.3 S Khan to M Ghazanfar
0 Googly again, Ghazanfar swings and misses wildly here.
10.2 S Khan to M Ghazanfar
0 Hat-trick ball here.  Fuller on the stumps, Ghazanfar defends forward.
Shadab Khan is on a hat-trick.
