Well that's all for today folks! This is Tugral Azmi, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav! Stay Tuned to find out what comes up ahead in this season's Big Bash League! See you on the next one!
Ben Dwarshuis (Player of the Match): "I went back to the basics and I think I felt short in the first game. I worked on bowling yorkers. It’s nice to play 100 games. I didn’t know but good to get some experience. We had a tough start in Adelaide and Perth but great to make a comeback. We love playing at the SCG and hopefully, we will execute our plans in our next game."
Ben Dwarshuis is named the Player of the Match.
5.00 PM IST | WITH THAT SYDNEY SIXERS HAVE SNATCHED A THRILLING VICTORY✌️! They defend a formidable target and defeat Melbourne Renegades by a margin of 34 RUNS! Amazing bowling effort from the men in pink today and registered their third consecutive victory in a row.

Come to the chase, the Melbourne Renegades got off to a disastrous start. Thanks to some great bowling the Sixers dismissed the Renegades' openers within the first 3.4 overs to leave them reeling at 8/2 during the powerplay, leaving Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh to enter a period of consolidation.

Finch and Marsh try to handle the sinking innings of the Renegades and formed a 55-run partnership for the third wicket as Finch scored 36 off just 35 balls and Marsh got 28 off 25 after that wickets tend to tumble at regular intervals for the Renegades and they couldn't capture more and were bowled out for 115 with an over remaining.

From a bowling point of view, Sixer's bowlers were exceptional throughout the innings they didn't leak the easy runs and built the pressure on the Renegade's batters. Ben Dwarshuis was picked of bowlers who took a four-fer today in his spell. Sean Anthony Abbott and Hayden Kerr scalped a couple of wickets for Sydney Sixers. Jackson Bird and Todd Murphy bagged a solitary wicket apiece each.

Earlier in the match, Melbourne Renegade won the toss and invited Sixers to bat first. The sixers were off to a flying start, Kurtis Patterson was looking good but departed on 17. James Vince joined Josh Philippe who was looking solid at the other end. He played some wonderful strokes and kept the scoreboard ticking. He brought up his fifty but fell soon. This allowed the Renegades to pull things back in the middle overs. A couple of wickets helped their cause and restricted the opposition to 149/8.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three wickets, giving away 29 runs in his four overs. Kane Richardson and Will Sutherland also chipped in with a couple of scalps.

With this third consecutive victory in their courtyard, Sydney Sixers jumped to the fourth spot on the point table.

Stay tuned with us as we will be back with the presentation within a few minutes.

17.5 H Kerr to K Richardson
W BOWLED' EM!!!! Richardson makes room and Kerr follows him with a slower delivery, Richardson looks to hoick it into the leg side but ends up getting it off the toe end of the bat and it disturbs the timber. The Sixers are one wicket away from another comprehensive win in front of their home crowd.
