That's it from the match number 15 of the FairBreak Women's tournament 2022. We are done with the group stages and onto the semifinals, which is coming up tomorrow. See you all tomorrow then, for a cracker of a day. till then this is Shashank Surly signing off along with my co-commentators Shubham Agarwal and Saptak Sanyal along with the scorer Chandan Singh. Goodbye and Goodnight.
It's all over here in Dubai!!! What a game we have had this evening, The Warriors finally have a win in this tournament and finish their campaign on a high as they have completely annihilated the mighty Barmy Army team by 54 runs.
Warriors lost two off their top order batters for no run as Esha Oza was runout by a horrible miscommunication and Shanzeen Shahzad chopped the first ball of Deandra Dottin onto the sticks. Then, it was a Hayley Matthews and Mignon du Preez show as both went on to plunder the Barmy Army bowlers and put on 70 run stand off 54 balls, Hayley Matthews (52 off 35) innings was cut short by a bullet arm throw from Laura Cardosa. Du Preez took on the ownership to take the Warriors to a decent total and played some of the elegant cricketing shots in the books. She went on to make a splendid 54 ball 75 to take her team to 156 runs. Henriette Eshimiwe was the best bowler for the Army as she got 1/18 off her 4, Dottin got 1/11 off her 2 as she went out injured and never came out to bat.
Warriors bowlers were on the money as they almost had Laura Wolvaardt in the first ball before it was overturned as a bump ball but couldn't stick around much as her innings was cut short by her fellow South African, who launched and took a one handed stunner at midwicket. Heather Knight was soon removed by Shamilia Connell and lost Kavisha Edogade for 10 in the 8th over and were down to 31/3. Barmy Army team just kept on losing wickets in the middle and just never had the momentum they needed as no batter stood up like du Preez did for Warrior and ended up finishing on 102-8. A collective bowling performance from the team in yellow which they lacked the whole season made all the difference today. Matthews and Prabodhani got 2 wickets apiece as the rest of the bowlers got one apiece.

2 Full and wide of off, pushed towards deep extra cover and batters make their way for the second run but it won't make any difference as Warriors have their first win of the tournament.
