So that's it from the coverage of this top of the table clash! Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arya Sekhar Chakraborty. Stay tuned for more cricket coverage from across the globe. Stay safe and take care. Good night!
Hardik Pandya, GT skipper and the player of the match: "Feels pretty special. Lot of hard work for me today. Always good to me. I just had some cramps. It gives me a lot of time and I can calculate and bat. Today I made sure I had a sense of approach while batting. It allows the other players to play freely and not take any pressure. Batting at four gives me some time so I can pick up the bowlers and target them. It gives me the opportunity to be the flag bearer. The group is doing very well, everyone is getting happy for each other's success. I wanted them to be happy for someone else's successes and not just their own."
Hardik Pandya is the player of the match.
Hardik Pandya also wins the Ruppay on the Go 4s of the Match Award.
Lockie Ferguson wins the Swiggy Instamart Fastest Delivery of the Match Award for clocking 150.4 kph.
Hardik Pandya is also the Upstox Most Valuable Asset of the Match.
Jos Buttler is the Cred Powerplayer of the Match for scoring 54 of 24 deliveries in the powerplay.
Hardik Pandya also wins the Unacademy Let's Crack it Sixes Award for hitting four sixes.
Hardik Pandya is the Dream11 Game Changer of the Match.
Punch Super Striker of the Match is Jos Buttler
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony.
Lockie Ferguson- The way Buttler was batting, there's not a lot you can do. He lapped me on the first ball and I had to do something different. It came out well and loved seeing the stumps light up. Throughout the IPL there are many who can get on top like him. Not much you can do to get on top. Nice to see the back of him for sure. You couldn't get Hardik out of the game tonight. Love the energy he brings. We've got a lot of experience. Rashid has bowled well for so long. He's creating pressure on one end and is great to have him on my side. Certainly happier with this pitch. We managed to get little bit of seam. So far so good, but we've got Rash and Rahul Tewatia.
Sanju Samson, RR skipper- I would like to give credit to their batsmen. Hardik played well and Miller finished off well. If we would have had wickets in hand, this was chaseable. We were there for the run-rate and it was a matter of a few wickets. We had the power and potential. It was a freaky niggle and we missed Boult's experience in the powerplay. Hopefully he'll be back soon. Hardik had a great day today. I have played enough of IPL to understand that each game is crucial and it is important to learn the lesson and come back stronger. Momentum matters.  Lot of thought process has gone behind the batting order. I was batting at 3 a lot but we felt i should come lower down and be flexible. I am happy to bat anywhere and depends on the team demands.
Arya: It was Sanju Samson earlier in the day who won the toss and put the Gujarat Titans in. It wasn't the greatest start for the Titans as they lost Mathew Wade and Vijay Shankar early.

Hardik Pandya came in at No 4 to join Shubhman Gill in the middle. Hardik played some delightful shots and took on the attack to the Rajasthan Royals bowlers. Shubman Gill wasn't at his fluent best and was dismissed by part-time leg spinner Riyan Parag. There was a great partnership from there on between the skipper Hardik Pandya and Abhinav Manohar who stitched together a partnership of 86 runs to get Gujarat Titans back into the game.

Manohar continued to impress in this edition of the tournament as he played some delightful shots. What was heartening to see was that he played Yuzvendra Chahal with so much grace and confidence. Hardik Pandya unlike the other day, maintained a great strike rate over the course of his unbeaten knock. He was at his ominous best but it was David Miller's blitz towards the last few overs which got Gujarat Titans over the 190 mark.

Miller came in at the fall of Manohar's wicket and after missing a few deliveries of Prasidh Krishna he started smoking boundaries and sixes at will. He smashed five fours and a six during his unbeaten knock of 31 of 14 deliveries. Kuldeep Sen. Yuzvendra Chahal and Riyan Parag bagged a wicket each for the Rajasthan Royals.
Ninaad- An excellent bowling effort from the Gujarat Titans as they get the two points required to reach the top of the table. The Royals started the chase well courtesy Jos Buttler (54 off 24) who reclaimed the orange cap and scored a quickfire half century before getting out on the last ball of the powerplay.

The next considerable score in the lineup was from number six Shimron Hetmyer who scored 29 off 17 deliveries. Opener Devdutt Padikkal fell for a golden duck and the experiment of R Ashwin batting at number 3 also didn't work out for the Royals.

Kiwi quick bowler Lockie Ferguson was at his best as he picked up three key wickets by conceding only 23 runs in his four overs. Debutant and left arm seamer Yash Dayal picked up his first wicket in the very first over but conceded 33 runs in the first two overs of his spell but made a good comeback to finish with 3-40.

Hardik Pandya was brilliant with the ball and in the field as well as he picked up a wicket and executed a run out in the field before going off as he suffered with an injury. Mohammed Shami was expensive but picked up the key wicket of Shimron Hetmyer at a crucial juncture. Rashid Khan went wicketless but bowled a decent spell conceding only 24 runs in his four over spell.

All in all, it was an excellent day in the field for the Gujarat Titans as they reach the top of the points table and displayed yet another top display on the field in all the three facets of the game. Stay tuned for the post match presentation.
A comprehensive victory for the Gujarat Titans by 37 runs.
