Yash Dayal is a left-arm fast bowler who plays for Uttar Pradesh in the Indian domestic circuit. He comes from a cricketing family where his father, Chandarpal has featured in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) back in the ’80s and '90s. Dayal’s father was also a fast bowler. The left-arm quick is a gem of a player as he can swing the ball both ways and can clock over 140 kmph. The Uttar Pradesh quick made his List A debut in September 2018. Yash Dayal is a left-arm fast bowler who plays for Uttar Pradesh in the Indian domestic circuit. He comes from a cricketing family where his father, Chandarpal has featured in the Vijay Hazare Trophy (VHT) back in the ’80s and '90s. Dayal’s father was also a fast bowler. The left-arm quick is a gem of a player as he can swing the ball both ways and can clock over 140 kmph. The Uttar Pradesh quick made his List A debut in September 2018. Shortly after, he made his First-Class and domestic T20 debut.

He was called up to be a part of the Indian squad as a backup ahead of the 2022 India vs West Indies ODI series as multiple players tested positive ahead of the series. Days later, he was bought by the Gujarat Titans(GT) in the 2022 edition of IPL mega-auction for a whopping INR 3.2 crores.
