Ashton Turner, WA captain: "Quick thank you to every stakeholder involved. Lots of challenges involved with international and domestic cricket since the past years. I would like to congratulate Kurtis and the boys, you had a brilliant season. I'd like to congratulate our boys. We didn't get to play much at home in Perth and I am proud the way the team has put up this performance."
Kurtis Patterson, NSW captain: "First of all Congrats WA, much deserved winners, you are a very strong team. I am sure we will be better in the future."
Andrew Tye is the player of the match!

Time for the presentation ceremony. The match officials and umpires are being felicitated for their duties throughout the season.

Earlier, Western Australia won the toss and opted to bat. But they didn’t start well as they lost a couple of quick wickets early in the proceedings. They were 15/2 as Daniel Sams picked up both the openers cheaply. At this point Shaun Marsh (29 off 47) and Cameron Bancroft (39 off 57) added a partnership of 61-runs for the third wicket. During this period Marsh came up with a calf issue. Kurtis Patterson introduced Adam Zampa and he took three wickets in a flash leaving Western Australia at 89/6. It was thought that the innings would get over sooner but another partnership of 59-runs for the seventh wicket between Aaron Hardie (27 off 47) and Jhye Richardson (44 off 64) put them back in the contest. Hayden Kerr came back for his last spell and took a couple of wickets to put the pressure back on Western Australia as they were tumbling near an all-out. They were 173-9 after 42.4-overs and should have been closed down before 200. But a record last wicket partnership of unbeaten 52-runs between Matthew Kelly (27 off 30)* and Jason Behrendorff (24 off 22)* yielded them some crucial runs in the end.

Adam Zampa bowled a magnificent spell of 10-1-40-3. And he was well supported by his partner Tanveer Sangha as he picked a wicket. Daniel Sams was very good with his new ball and slog overs spells as they read in total 10-0-45-3. Hayden Kerr was good at the later stages and picked a couple of wickets to restrict Western Australia to 225/9in their allotted 50-overs.

Akshaya: Western Australia are the Australian Domestic One-Day competition champions. They have defeated New South Wales by 18-runs. This is the 15th time in their history that they have lifted the MARSH CUP. They have reversed the results of the last year's final. West is the best. Perth Scorchers with the BIG BASH title, Western Australia with the MARSH CUP and they are also in the top of the ladder in the Sheffield Shield competition at this moment.

Chasing their 12th title in the Australian Domestic One-Day competition, New South Wales started steadily till Matthew Gilkes (20 off 26) edged one to the keeper. Just after a couple of overs they lost their other opener as well. Daniel Hughes (20 off 44) chipped one straight back to the bowler. Aaron Hardie took these two wickets after replacing Jhye Richardson after his magnificent new ball spell. But before that the openers added a solid 42-runs for the first wicket.

Then Moises Henriques and skipper Kurtis Patterson (23 off 30) added 38-runs for the third wicket. At this time Western Australia skipper handed over the ball to Andrew Tye who took three wickets in a cluster and was on a hattrick at one time. Jhye Richardson double bluffed Baxter Holt before he left the field due to a leg injury. They were at 108/6 after 26.4-overs.

Then Daniel Sams joined hands with Moises Henriques and added 60-crucial runs for the seventh wicket. Sams was batting aggressively and scored a quick fire 42 off 41-balls before he was the third victim to Aaron Hardie.

A crucial partnership of 36-runs for the eighth wicket between Henriques (43 off 75) and Ben Dwarshuis (31 off 33)* was broken by D'Arcy Short but it was all about a stunner by Hilton Cartwright at long on diving horizontally to his left. Henriques toiled hard but was the victim for that blinder. Following it there was another blinder from Josh Philippe to dismiss Adam Zampa. Last two wickets were taken off quickly as New South Wales got all-out for 207 runs in 46.3-overs.

Andre Tye spell read 8-0-30-4 which was the match turning one. He was ably supported by Aaron Hardie with his spell of 8-0-41-3. Richardson, Short and Kelly took a wicket each.

46.3 M Kelly to T Sangha
W GONE!! Western Australia are the domestic one-day champions! Short delivery outside the off stump, Sangha tries to pull and plays the stroke early, gets it off the toe end of the bat which carries to the cover point fielder! Shaun Marsh takes the catch which gives victory to Western Australia! They get their 15th one-day title!

45.6 A Tye to T Sangha
0 Number 11 Tanveer Sangha is in. Sees off Andrew Tye's final ball of the over as he hunts his five-wicket haul. Fuller delivery, almost in the base of the off stump. Defends forward as the ball dies down in the off side.
45.5 A Tye to A Zampa
W Gone! NSW are nine down! Zampa departs without scoring. What a brilliant catch by Josh Phillippe behind the stumps! Good length delivery, another off cutter outside the off stump, Zampa clears his front leg, trying to create some room to hit through the off side but the ball comes in sharply and kisses the inside edge of the bat. Phillippe dives full length to his left and takes a magical catch to dismiss the leg spinner!
45.4 A Tye to A Zampa
0 Short on the off stump, pulls straight to midwicket without complete control. Looks for a single but is sent back by Dwarshuis.
