So, thats a wrap for this contest as the white rose emerges victorious against the Steelbacks. This was Arijit Kundu with the ball by ball coverage alongside co-commentator Badal pareek and scorer statistician Suresh Kumawat. Stay tuned to all the other actions on our coverage and thank you and have a good night/day/afternoon. Adios!
The Steelbacks never looked nearer to the chase in this contest and lost wickets at regular intervals. The pacers worked really well in the initials of the proceedings with legspinner, Shadab Khan operating from the other end. They lost Ben Curran, Chris Lynn, Josh Cobb quite early and the middle order failed too after getting decent starts. Jimmy Neesham got to 26 off half the number being the deliveries and is the highest runscorer for Northamptonshire tonight. Dom Bess, and Shadab Khan controlled the middle phases extremely well, picking up crucial blows and in the end the pacers summed things up for a sweet victory.

Earlier in the day, Northants had won the toss and elected to field first. Yorkshire got off the worst possible start as they lost three-wicket in quick succession. David Willey and Brook decided to take matters into their own hands as they went after the bowling. It was some counter-attack from the two as they brought things back in control. Willey scored 31 runs off 24 balls as he played the anchor role while Brook took the bowler apart as he scored 67 off 31 balls before getting dismissed. Yorkshire did lose control of the ship in the middle phase as they lost three quick wickets and were around the 150 mark for 6 wickets. A late flurry from the likes of Thompson 30 (22), Waite 35* (20) and Revis 10* (4) helped Yorkshire put up a huge score of 190 runs. They managed to assemble 45 runs in the last three overs.
16.2 M Revis to N Buck
W Gonee!! thats it that's the last wicket and Vikings have won the match by 63 runs here. A widish yorker once again and the batter stays there and looks to carve the ball towards the backward point region. The widish 3rd man nearer to the region gets hold of the cork and that summons the end of the contest between the two.
16.1 M Revis to N Buck
0 A wide yorker from the bowler and Buck looks to get a bat but misses it.

15.6 M Waite to B Sanderson
0 Short ball from the bowler and Sanderson  looks to pull it but misses it by some margin here.
15.5 M Waite to G White
W Outtt!! The ninth wicket is down and its White who takes the long walk towards the pavilion. A spot on yorker from the paceman and that's enough to sneak through his willow and castle the furniture piece. Just getting beaten by pace!
15.4 M Waite to G White
0 A disguised slower one and White had no clue about it. He shuffled across the line to incur the ramp but ends up getting missed by the delivery.
15.3 M Waite to G White
2 Full and quick at the timbers and the right hander makes room and thrashes this one to sweeper covers for a double.
15.2 M Waite to N Buck
1 A fuller stuff from the bowler and the right hander drives it to long on for a single.
15.1 M Waite to N Buck
6 SIXXX!! Well, it seems that the smacking has started off late for the Steelbacks and its the tail that's talking with the blade. Back of a length delivery from the paceman and the batter rooms a bit and pulls  it out of the deep square leg fence this time.

14.6 J Thompson to N Buck
1 Pulls the shorter stuff this time and gets a single towards deep backward square leg.
14.5 J Thompson to N Buck
6 SIXXX!! Welll, well, well!! Its still raining sixes here! A half volley from Thompson and the batter slogs it over the long on region for a maximum.
14.4 J Thompson to N Buck
4 Inside edges towards the fences for a lucky four. Fuller one from the bowler , on the middle and leg. The batter goes for a swing over the mid on region but ends up getting an inside edge.
Arijit: A compulsory concussion test is being carried out now as Buck  has been hit by a short ball this time.
