And with that, our coverage on of the night comes to an end. Do join us for the New Zealand vs Australia game tomo (11:30 IST), and this is good bye from me Kingshuk Kusari and my colleagues Sourya Chowdhury and Vikhyat Jain. Good night.
Mohd Rizwan - It is a par of the game. He (Tanvir) went for runs today, tomorrow he probably would go for 6-7 runs less. We were short by 15 runs in our first innings and we will come back stronger in out next game.
Kingshuk: Earlier in the day, a disciplined bowling performance in the middle overs starved Multan of momentum and despite a good start checked them to 156 runs. A see-saw game saw several twists and turns, and despite the brilliance of Shahid Afridi, Multan lost the game.
Kingshuk: Needing 20 from the final two overs with just three wickets in hand, Gregory chose to target Sohail Tanvir, the spearhead who came into bowl the penultimate over. The English all-rounder dispatched Tanvir all over the park to turn the game on its head. Not out at 49 off 31 balls, Gregory's efforts won Islamabad the game with 6 balls to spare.
Kingshuk: That's it. The wide does it and Islamabad have pulled off a blinder here. They were down and out by the middle overs and a combined effort by Lewis Gregory and Faheem Ashraf has made sure that Islamabad's sinking ship is saved.
19.1 Sohaibullah to Lewis Gregory
WD OOPPSSS!!! Not the batsman but the bowler scores the winning runs for Islamabad, bangs in short and too short over the head of Gregory, wide signaled. Victory for Islamabad but Gregory is denied from his fifty, he won't mind that for sure but what a knock that has been from him down the order under pressure.

18.6 Sohail Tanvir to Lewis Gregory
1 First yorker from Tanvir in the over but too late, Gregory pushes it to the mid-on vacant region for a single and will keep the strike, only 1 run to win the match now
Sourya: Gregory is playing a blinder here. Such clever batting. Knows exactly where the fielders are. But very poor bowling from the experienced Tanvir. He has undone all the good work by his mates. Kingshuk? Speechless? What an over.
18.5 Sohail Tanvir to Lewis Gregory
4 Gregory you beauty, fuller this time, and Gregory out of nowhere drives it straight down the ground for yet another boundary of the over.
Kingshuk: Sohail Tanvir has only himself to blame and Gregory has turned this around singlehanded. Move Away Lala. Imagine Afridi's wrath after this.
18.4 Sohail Tanvir to Lewis Gregory
4 On the pads, Tanvir has lost his line and length, Gregory gently clips it off his pads in the gap on the leg side for a boundary, the camp is elated
18.3 Sohail Tanvir to Lewis Gregory
4 Again back of a length delivery, Gregory slashes it through the point cordon and a boundary, the equation is reduced to 10 runs from 9 balls
Sourya: Such a crucial six that one, Gregory really got all of that one.
18.2 Sohail Tanvir to Lewis Gregory
6 This can be the match winning shot! Banged in shot again and this time Gregory was up for the task and pulls it away over the fence on the leg side for a maximum
18.1 Sohail Tanvir to Lewis Gregory
0 Short and hits the toe end of the bat of Gregory, single denied by Gregory

Sourya: Yes, the wickets column is the crucial difference here. Otherwise, with wickets in hand, this is a pretty easy chase in a T20 game. Still anybody's game here.
17.6 Carlos Brathwaite to Lewis Gregory
1 Short from Carlos, Gregory pulls it away in the air but lands one bounce in front of the country fielder, single taken
