The 20-year-old played for Punjab Women's team in the 2021-22 Women's Senior One Day Trophy, where she bagged 5 wickets against Maharashtra Women.
Kanika’s impressive skills were recognized in the Women's Premier League auction in February 2023, when she was roped in by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for INR 35 lakhs.
