Hailing from Punjab, Kanika S Ahuja is a promising all-rounder who bats left-handed and bowls right-arm seam-up. She started her cricketing journey at a young age and has established herself as a standout performer in the women's cricket scene.

From captaining the Punjab team in the U-16 and U-19 categories, Kanika has shone for the state in List-A cricket as well. 

Last year, the young lass came into the limelight with her remarkable performance in the Punjab Inter-State District Senior Tournament, where the southpaw scored a staggering 305 runs. Kanika’s impressive skills helped her secure a spot in the India D Women's team.

The 20-year-old played for Punjab Women's team in the 2021-22 Women's Senior One Day Trophy, where she bagged 5 wickets against Maharashtra Women.

Kanika’s impressive skills were recognized in the Women's Premier League auction in February 2023, when she was roped in by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for  INR 35 lakhs. The opportunity to play in the league alongside some of the best names in the world is a testament to the all-rounder’s talent and hard work.
