Player Bio

Sandeep Warrier was picked by the KKR team purely on the basis of his domestic cricket performances. He made his First-Class debut back in 2012 and a dominating performance in the Ranji Trophy season 2018-19 where he took 44 wickets from 10 games that helped Kerala to reach the semi-final stage of Ranji Trophy for the first time put him on the radar of the KKR. He was also the leading wicket-taker in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for Kerala.

Given his record in the last Indian domestic season and his potential to extract extra bounce off the pitch earned him a contract of Rs 20 lakh from KKR but his stocks may rise in future years if he can take his domestic form on to a world stage tournament that is IPL.
