Player Bio

Someone who loved shadow batting in his juvenescence, Yannic Cariah is a right-hand leg spinner and a left-handed batter, who plays for the West Indies Cricket Team.

The Trinidad-born was also a part of the West Indies U-19 team in the 2010 U-19 World Cup.

The cork-turner captained the Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) U-13 side in the Goodwill tour of Barbados and clinched two titles as a 10-year-old.

Yannic made his List-A debut in 2009, for the West Indies U-19s in the WICB President's Cup and his First-Class debut for T&T in the 2011 Regional Four-Day Competition.

Known for his lethal googly and variations in pace, the 30-year-old represents the Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

The wrist-spinner made his ODI debut for West Indies on 17th August 2022 against New Zealand.

Yannic made his T20I debut for West Indies on 3rd October 2022 against Australia and is named in the 2022 T20 World Cup squad for West Indies
