Despite full vaccination, 3 players contract COVID in Pakistan women's squad
Three members of the Pakistan women’s squad who are scheduled to face West Indies in an ODI series starting 8 November have tested positive for COVID-19. The Pakistan Cricket Board, in an official statement, provided the information, however did not reveal the names of the players who have contracted the infection. The Pakistan women’s squad had been training in the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre ahead of their three-match ODI series, but now will have to remain in isolation till 2 November. The three members who tested positive will have to quarantine for 10-days, till November 6, two days ahead of the commencement of the ODI series. The squad was fully vaccinated since May, 2021. Pakistan play three ODIs against West Indies on 8, 11 and 14 November.
