A total team effort as the Bashers have been outplayed in all facets of the game. Their 4th loss in as many games and Bangalore are out of the tournament.
Chasing 114 for the win, the Lucknow Lions got off to a great start and never looked in trouble. Akash Yadav came out all guns blazing and remained unbeaten on 54* off 14 balls while Aman Deep Singh was unbeaten on 55* off 17 balls. The others were not needed as the chase was done and dusted in 5,1 overs.
So, nothing to cheer about for the Bangalore Bashers. They all went to the cleaners and they did not get a wicket either. It was a night to forget for the Bashers bowlers.
Earlier in the game, Bangalore Bashers won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost Aryaman Pal early. But then an 85-run stand between Karanjeet Singh Shah and Umang Shethi rescued them to get them back on track at 85/1 in 4 overs. Shah scored 48 off 16 balls while Sethi scored 40 off 13 balls. But then the wickets started to fall as 4 fell in one over and three in the very next as the innings was in a free fall.
