That is the coverage of the UP T20. For now, this is me Hrutuja Deshmukh signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Satap Sanyal, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar brought you all the live-action of this fixture. We will meet again. Until then, cheers!
Anivesh Chaudhary(Player of the Match) - Today the match was on red soil and the wicket was turning a bit too much and I was targeting the loses ballers, we can defend it but 20-25 more on the boards would have been an easy win but I am happy with my teammates.
Player of the Match: Anivesh Choudhary
Akshdeep Nath(Gorakhpur Lions Captain): "The plan was to not use one spinner for long. We have spinners who have variations and can hit different lengths. We want to continue the momentum. Talks were that we are 10-15 runs short but I was confident about winning the game as our spinners were doing good."
Catch of the Match: Priyanshu Gautam
Super Striker of the Match: Shiva Singh
Valuable Dots of the Match: Vijay Yadav
Time for the post-match presentations.
Karan Sharma(Kashi Rudras Captain): "I think we batted worst in the middle overs. 35 runs should've got chased in 5 overs as we had 5 over and a deep batting line-up. We restricted them to a good score. Our batting unit failed miserably. We should check as it might affect the team.

I am not doing well also. I expect that I will do well in the next match. This tournament is getting interesting and we should perform well."
11:17 PM IST and Local Time: What a win for the Gorakhpur Lions! They won by just 9 runs! What a nail-biting last over it was for both sides and the Lions emerged victorious. Let's see what all happened in this match.

Kashi Rudra's innings seemed promising initially with Shivam Bansal grinding out a steady 27 off 25 balls. But the spark was truly ignited when Shiva Singh stormed in, smashing a fiery 33 off just 17 deliveries! It was as if he was wielding a hammer rather than a bat! However, the momentum faltered as soon as Prince Yadav walked in, contributing a cautious 16 off 15 balls. The lack of solid partnerships in the middle and lower order became Kashi Rudra's undoing, leaving them nine runs short of the target.

Switching over to the bowling assault—what a show of strength by the Lions! Ankit Rajput drew first blood, taking two crucial wickets, while Priyanshu Gautam was the star, dismantling the opposition with three scalps. Vishal Nishad and Shivam Sharma chipped in with two and one wicket respectively, tightening the noose around Kashi Rudra's neck.

Their precision and discipline made sure that the Kashi Rudras never got a chance to break free. A big round of applause for the Lions they earned this victory through sheer grit and superb execution! Congratulations to the Lions for a superb win!
19.3 A Rajpoot to J Dhankhar
W WICKET!!!!!!! Gorakhpur Lions have pulled out a stunning victory from the jaws of defeat by 9 runs. Ankit Rajpoot bowls a slow delivery at the outside off line. Dhakhar gets deceived by the change of pace, yet he swings his bat. He gets a top edge as a result and Rajpoot takes the catch.

19.2 A Rajpoot to A Baliyan
1W RUN OUT!!!! Slower on length at the off stump. Baliyan hits it to long-on and goes for collecting the second run. Aranav Baliyan dives to save his wicket but the keeper does well to take the bails off after collecting the ball from the long-on fielder. 10 from 4 required with one wicket left.
19.1 A Rajpoot to A Baliyan
2 From over the wicket. Slower and fullish outside off. Baliyan drives it to the left of long off and scampers back for the second run. TV umpire is checking for a short run. It is looking very close. Bat was just on the popping crease but TV umpire confirms it as two runs.
13 runs are needed in 06 balls.
