Sameer Rizvi (Kanpur Superstars Captain)-" We are disappointed with the effort. The batting has been lagging from the beginning of the tournament and we should have done well and won this game. A lot of our players haven't been in form and the burden of finishing is on myself but I couldn't do the job today. We will look to give opportunity to the youngsters and help them to improve in the next game. "
6:36 PM IST and Local Time: That would be it. It is a marvellous victory for the Lucknow Falcons as they have defended a score of 155 against the Sameer Rizvi-led Kanpur Superstars! Eventually, the Priyam Garg-led side won by 13 runs.

The Superstars started off cautiously in the chase after losing Shoaib Siddique in the first over. However, Faiz Ahmed and Adarsh Singh stitched a partnership in the powerplay to recover the team from the early blow.  

Soon after the powerplay, Adarsh lost the plot in Vipraj Nigam’s first over, which brought Sameer Rizvi to the middle. The skipper and Ahmed took off from there with their 46-run stand.

Ahmed and Rizvi brought the Kanpur team into the game, but the Lucknow spinners tied the screws in the middle overs. Kritagya Singh took the former's wicket, while Nigam dismissed Rizvi (40). In the end, the leggie took three wickets for just 23 runs. Putting the cherry on top, all Lucknow spinners took a total of seven wickets.
