So, that's it from our coverage of the first semifinal of the Delhi Premier League 2024. East Delhi Riders have booked a spot in the finale. For now, this is the duo of Saptak Sanyal and Manish Bishnoi signing off. GOOD NIGHT!
Harsh Tyagi(Player of the Match): "It is special for me as I had performed with the ball. Captain and coaches were aware of my abilities. They knew I can play as a wild card. Today the wicket was slow. I knew it suited my basics and I sticked to that.

I am not bothered about who goes to the final tomorrow. We are ready to face anyone in the final. The unity is the strength of us. We knew, it one can't perform, some other one will do it."
Player of the Match: Harsh Tyagi
Himmat Singh(East Delhi Riders Captain): "Today's game have set a example of our depth. We wanted to have this so that we don't look at each other's face when we are in trouble. We lost the momentum. We took 2 days rest, 2 days were of no practice. That set us behind slightly.

Kavya was very responsibly. We knew Harsh can hit four maximums in a over. We had Simarjeet in our bench."
Fittest Player of the Match: Siddhartha Solanki
Super Striker of the Match: Harsh Tyagi
Most Economical Bowler of the Match: Harsh Tyagi
Catch of the Match: Yash Dabas
Most Fours of the Match: Harsh Tyagi
Most Gamechanger Sixes of the Match: Harsh Tyagi
Time for the post-match presentations.
Vaibhav Kandpal(North Delhi Strikers Captain): "I would not blame anyone. We had a young squad and we lacked the experience. Runs on boards are runs on boards. We batted well in the first innings. We have a lot of takeaways. Our bowlers performed nicely throughout the tournament and helped us to win crunch games."
