Vaibhav Kandpal(North Delhi Strikers Captain): "I would not blame anyone. We had a young squad and we lacked the experience. Runs on boards are runs on boards. We batted well in the first innings. We have a lot of takeaways. Our bowlers performed nicely throughout the tournament and helped us to win crunch games."

Vaibhav Kandpal and Sarthak Ranjan started the innings with a flurry of boundaries. They registered a partnership of 61 in just 37 legal balls before Ranjan got out for 30. Yash Dabas got out cheaply for just 2 runs. Vaibhav Kandpal batted well for his 39-run knock off 26 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes.

They took 14 runs from that over and from the 16th over, they took 22 runs which was the turning point of the game. Pranshu Vijayran bowled the penultimate over and he conceded 17 runs and after that, win became a cakewalk for the East Delhi Riders. Harsh Tyagi scored 43 runs from 17 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Kavya Gupta remained unbeaten on 25 off 15 balls.
